So I just finally got the last one I needed, Absolute League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: The Black Dossier, and this makes my collection COMPLETE! I know that they are making more this year, but this is a big deal to me, some of these books were a real challenge to obtain, and not exactly cheap! I spent a LONG time trying to get my hands on Absolute Danger Girl, Absolute League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vol. 1 and Absolute Authority vol. 1, but the wait was WELL worth it! Now I need to find a new collection to work on, considering the Omnibus Marvel collection, but it doesn't feel the same (no offense to anyone), and I seem to already have ALOT of those books in Hardcover, although they do look rather nice on a shelf. Good luck to anyone else trying to get a complete Absolute Edition set, it was fun!

And a few other random shots of my other pride and joys :)

Have you concidered Image's Pseudo Absolutes? They've released them for Invicible, The Walking Dead, and possibly Godland. I'm not sure if that last one was in the format or just a fancy schmancy hardcover.

I'd also suggest dark Horse's Hellboy Library. Its not exactly the absolute format, but its still a very high quality collection.

It helps that all those series are freaking amazing too. Except Godland. Couldn't really get into that one.

Very nice. Your son is adorable and your wife is beautiful.

But I'm soooooo jealous of those shelves.

So jealous.

My father in law built it for me, and trust me, the pictures do it NO justice. It is HUGE, and the crown molding just looks beautiful. There is a huge three panel window on the other side of the room, and I installed a really nice track lighting in the room, so when neighbors go by at night, they always tell me how beautiful it looks. And yes, my wife is extremely hot, I love it :)

I like it. I couldn't tell you why or what I like about it, and I sort of stopped reading in the middle of the 2nd volume, but for some reason I like it. Probably the art.
