I started this chronology with a clear purpose, to organize everything in an order that is clear and understandable.

I became a huge fan of the universe after watching the film's teaser trailer in December 2023, shortly before its release.

Below are the media that will be on the Timeline.

Rebel Moon Timeline on Fandom: https://rebel-moon.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline

  • Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire (Film)
  • Rebel Moon Part One - A Child of Fire: The Official Novelization (Book)
  • Rebel Moon: House of the Bloodaxe (Comic)
  • Jalo! (Music)
  • Rebel Moon: The Descent (VR Game)
  • Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver (Film)

It will take me a while to edit, because I will watch all the movies first and get each piece of information.

I watched the two movies recently, they were OK, although inspiration with 7 Samurais was a bit too obvious.

So... this shares continuity with Army of the Dead, and thus a bunch of other Netflix media plus Dawn of the Dead. Have fun with that...

Well, I just read the Screenrant and Comicbook pages and if there is a connection between the two universes I will add it to the page and rename it.

When exactly is Rebel Moon even set?
The Rebel Moon universe does not have an official dating, the events occur before and after the assassination of the King and Queen.

It's like Star Wars which has a time frame of "Before the Battle of Yavin" and "After the Battle of Yavin".

Well it was originally written as a star wars installment so I'd imagine "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, but not that one, the one next to it or something"
But since Disney refused the proposal I think it doesn't fit the term "Galaxy far, far away."

And if there is a connection with Snyder's other works, I believe it is in the future or something like that.

Franchises
-Dawn of the Dead (1 film)
-Money Heist (2 series; possibly 3)
-Ozark (1 series)
-Lupin (1 series)
-Army of the Dead (2 films)
Red Notice (1 film)
Rebel Moon (2 films)

So 6 films and 4 TV series, possibly 5 counting the Korean version of Money Heist.

Is it possible that Rebel Moon is set in another galaxy with humans that are not from Earth?

I read all the material and it seems confirmed that all these media are part of the same universe, so I'm going to start watching the movies and series and I'm going to start this Timeline.
