One of the few movies coming out this fall that I am looking forward to. The first two are hands down two of my favorite horror movies and I can't wait for them to conclude the story.

This one sounds pretty intriguing - Amanda, who will procede Saw after he is dead, captures a doctor so that she can treat a bed-ridden Saw for the remaining time he has... There is a twist, of course. While the doctor works, someone that she is connected to through the grapevine, is condemned in one of Saw's traps...

I didn't like either of the others, but that didn't keep me from watching them. I'll probably see this and hate it too.

Why can't anyone make a decent horror movie anymore?

i liked them, but I wouldn't list it as horror. It's more of a rock and a hard place movie. Something along the lines of Law and Order. Why did Danny Glover have to die!!!

Because Hollywood forgot what "scary" is. Instead they've fallen in love with "gore".

Gore does not equal scary. Gore equals gross.

Freddy....we forgive you. Come back.

:?

Jigsaw. His name is Jigsaw.

And as for the movies, they're good but not great. The first one especially was a refreshingly original and thought-provoking horror flick, but I don't think it's quite the masterpiece some fans make it out to be.

I will say though that Tobin Bell is fantastic in Saw II. No one else could've played that part. He'd make a great Joker if they ever did a Dark Knight Returns movie.

I liked the both of them. A lot. These were horror movies with more meat to them than, say, House of Wax or The Hills Have Eyes...
