Six Degrees of Separation, Six One Six Style

Okay, playing by the rules now...

1) Sasquatch was nearly killed by the Collective.

2) The Collective was defeated by the New Avengers, including Iron Man.

3) Iron Man's civilian alter-ego is Tony Stark, who is currently the Director of SHIELD.

4) Mockingbird is a former Agent of SHIELD.

5) Mockingbird's spirit assisted Dead Girl in X-Statix Presents: Dead Girl and Dr. Strange

6) Dead Girl and Zeitgeist were both members of the revamped X-Force.

I pick Blastaar and Karen Page.

1) Sasquatch was a member of Alpha Flight
2) Alpha Flight has fought the X-men
3) The X-Men have teamed up with Dr. Strange
4) Dr. Strange has teamed up with Dead Girl
5) Dead Girl was on X-Statix with Mr. Sensitive (formerly the Orphan, I think)
6) Mr. Sensitive (as the Orphan) was on X-Force with Zeitgeist

I pick Blastaar and Karen Page.

1) Blastaar the Living Bomb Burst frequently battles fellow Negative Zone villain Annihilus.

2) Annihilus captured Rick Jones, who was once psychocosmowhateverically bonded with Captain Marvel, the Kree Jesus.

3) Captain Marvel got cancer from Nitro.

4) Nitro was hired by Sammy Silke to assassinate Matthew Murdock

5) Matthew Murdock's alias Daredevil, the Man Without Fear has a long-standing grudge with Bullseye.

6) Bullseye killed Karen Page. But that's okay. She had AIDS anyway.

I pick Peotr, the superpowered orangutan and Darkhawk.

If we're going to honor the original rules of the game -- not to mention the 8title* of the thread -- then we need to limit the choice of characters to characters who have crossed over with 616 continuity.

It's not enough for Marvel to have published one of their comics, at some point. The characters need to have *interacted* with the 616 universe, in some way.

In that sense, it's damn near impossible to do Green Goblin and Darth Vader in any way that sticks to the guidelines initially established.

So I say, we just continue with my challenge, just to put the game back on track, and safely operating within the ground rules of 616.

Does that sound fair to you? :?

So I guess Jay Leno counts. :D

The Leader and Chase Stein

EDIT: GODDAMMIT!

With all due respect, I'd prefer to recognize Ourchair's challenge as the legitimate one, since I posted my answer first.

However, just to indulge you...

1) The Leader is the arch-nemesis of The Hulk.

2) The Hulk fought Wolverine (in Wolvie's debut appearance).

3) Wolverine joined The New Avengers under the leadership of Captain America.

4) Captain America led the anti-registration forces, which included The Young Avengers.

5) The Young Avengers encountered The Runaways during Civil War.

6) Chase Stein is a member of the Runaways.

(This was a non-competiton entry.)

Its fine, I'm not really mad, I just kept getting beat the punch.

I'm satiated.

Indeed.

Seriously though, is there really an Audiobook version of the Bible read by James Earl Jones? Because I would *so* download a torrent of that...
And then run it through Audacity to add that nice 'Darth Vader' post-production effect.

Darth Vader was not in 616 but Optimus Prime and Godzilla both were.

James Earl Jones definately has an audiotape version of the Bible out there, but I do believe it's a "modern" version of the Bible, with contemporary language.

And I rule this thread, with Jesus and Revolver Ocelot.

6) Bullseye killed Karen Page. But that's okay. She had AIDS anyway.

I pick Peotr, the superpowered orangutan and Darkhawk.

1) Peotr is a member of the Super-Apes, and thus a minion of the Red Ghost.

2) The Red Ghost fought the X-Men during the "Wild Kingdom" storyline, in which he attempted to build a new Communist state in the political vacuum of Niganda - the Socialist Simian Republic of Niganda, "A country where a new form of Marxist-Leninist socialism can grow, based on the purity of the ape world." (As one might guess, this happened during Peter Milligan's run on UXM.)

3) Wolverine is a perennial member of the X-Men.

4) Pre-teen Molly Hayes considered Wolverine her idol, until an unpleasant face-to-face encounter in Runaways (which is nowhere as dirty as my wording suggests, I assure you).

5) Molly Hayes fought off the Loners (then known as Excelsior), alongside her team-mates.

6) Darkhawk is a member of the Loners/Excelsior.

My next challenge: Layla Miller and Dormammu

4) Scarlet Witch was an Avenger.
5) Doctor Strange is a current Avenger's member.
6) Doctor Strange has faced off with Dormammu in the past.

Quasar and Sabertooth.

4. Spider-man is a member of the New Avengers
5. Wolverine is also a member of the New Avengers
6. Sabretooth is primarily a Wolverine villain

3 hulk faced wolverine
4 wolverine is an x-men
5 X-men has Shadowcat
6 An alternate version of Shadowcat was Widget

Green Goblin (norman) and Trevor Fitzroy

1. Green Goblin is the new leader of the Thunderbolts.
2. Bullseye is also a member of the Thunderbolts.
3. Bullseye is an enemy of Daredevil.
4. Daredevil turned down an invite for the New Avengers, which Wolverine is a member of.
5. Wolverine used to be a teammate of Bishop.
6. Bishop returned to the past chasing Trevor Fitzroy.

Vulcan and Nuke

Vulcan and Nuke
1) Vulcan was a slave of Davan Shakari, aka Erik the Red.

2) Using deus ex Shi'ar machina, Erik the Red restored Magneto's adulthood.

3) Magneto became 'one-half' of the Hellfire Club's White King with Storm.

4) Storm was a temporary member of the Fantastic Four, much like Spider-Man.

5) Spider-Man's civilian alter ego, Peter Parker, has maintained constant acquaintance with Flash Thompson.

6) Flash Thompson is a veteran of the Vietnam War, much like Frank Simpson aka Nuke.

Deathlok (Luther Manning) and Hannibal King.
