With rising prices and waning interest, what do you think can save the comics industry?

Do you think everything is just going to become movie franchises?

Rising prices killed it once and it doesn't look like anyone learned that lesson.

I think we even have an old thread about rising prices in comics in here somewhere. One might argue that given the age of that discussion alone it's not a valid concern but I don't know. Thinking back to when the comics resurgence was at its peak compared to now...it seems like not as many people are reading/collecting.

I just wonder if Disney might kill Marvel's publishing arm.

Do they really need it anymore?
