I often wonder why anyone would agree to be on a TLC show. Haven't they ever watched TLC? I think pretty much every time I ever do I just walk away thinking, "Well that was weird." TLC exploits people who either have serious problems, or are just a bit outside of the cultural norm (as is the case with this show) and puts them on display so people can say, "wow, they're weird." No learning involved. If TLC approached me an said, hey would you like to be on a show on our network, I would immediately wonder what was weird enough about me to warrant that.

I didn't laugh at them b/c they were virgins, like I said I think that's great. And I think there's something pretty cool about wanting to save even kissing for marriage. I know people who did that. It's not weird to want to wait. It's not the norm, but that doesn't make it weird.

But if you are going to put your life on display for the world, I'm going to laugh when it gets funny. And that kiss was funny.
