The July 25, 2005 date in Batman Begins is inaccurate. The Gotham News promos state that the attack on the Narrows happened 9 months ago. They cover the 2008 elections. Both Batman: Gotham Knight and The Dark Knight state that they take place in July, Deadshots watch having July 13 on it and security footage of the Joker's Bank heist having July 18, 2008 on it.

I do plan on using the day though, just ignoring the year and month.

I find it interesting that Batman: Gotham Knight ends 3 days before The Dark Knight. Probably unintentional.

TBH I don't include Gotham Knight. I think it's more "based on" than a direct continuation of BB.

It's definitely in-continuity, only it isn't necessary a part of the Nolanverse in that it could fit virtually any continuity. The intent is still the Nolanverse, however. The narrows is mentioned.

Personally, I head-canon it into my own personal DCAU.

Probablemente involuntario.

That top-notch series is not written or directed by David S Goyer or Christopher Nolan.
Second, there's a pretty big consistency bug with Batman Begins.
In the beginning we see how Bruce turns 30 at the end of the film, so he came to Gotica at 29 years old.
But Gotham tonight they say he lost his parents at age 10, it was 14 until Chill died and 7 until he returned from his training.
So, is Bruce back at 31?
Also, Batman would have only been Batman for 1 year and Gordon's son would have grown from a 2-year-old baby, as specified in the Batman Begins script, to a child of about 7 in one year.
Recall that in TDKR Ras tells Bruce that he fought Gotica's decline for years.
There is already more evidence in favor of the fact that years have passed since it began.
There are 4 indicators in Beginnings about what happens in 2005 , two newspapers that give dates of July 2005 .
the license plate that Crane uses when he goes to visit Falcone in Arkham which also has the date 2005 and the license plates of the taxis that give the years 2004 and 2005.
Let's look at the pros and cons of Batman Begins in 2005:
advantage:
-Explanation to the growth of Gordon's children.
-Explanation to the line of Ras al Ghul in TDKR
-Explanation of how Harvey and Rachel have a relationship close to marriage
- Explanation of how Joker became famous in the criminal world
-Explanation of why Wayne Tower is different and how Batman implemented the batpod and created his new base.
-Maintain consistency with all dates given by the film
contras :
-The Joker's dialogue would not be correct, although it could be explained by the fact that it was misinterpreted, the Joker says that the police and lawyers did not dare to touch the gangsters, then he changes the subject and talks about batman.
In Batman, the police and the lawyers couldn't do anything to the mafia, the police don't arrest anyone, only Falcone because Batman gives them to them on a silver platter and the lawyers because Rachel almost died for Crane and her partner. who was a prosecutor, they killed him.
Like, 1 year ago, thanks to Batman, these can harm the mob? Yes, at first they still didn't tickle him.
It makes more sense that years have passed where Batman was busy rounding up all the prisoners in Arkham and with the formation of the MCU and the election of Harvey Dent in 2007 as the new prosecutor, now if Batman's actions could cause damage to the mob. since he is not alone, the police finally arrived and a prosecutor who was not intimidated and supported him.
The show is canon. It's a licensed piece of media that crosses over with the film itself and features cast members from the films. That's like saying WHiH Newsfront isn't canon to the MCU.

Small timeline inconsistencies like ages happen in fiction all the time. That doesn't mean that it isn't canon, that just means that certain characters were wrong. A script is not canon. Only the finished film is canon. Prop dates can be incorrect, and are mainly important for when there is no other information in the film to tell you when it is set.

Of course not .
It's not the same at all.
Everything in tdk indicates that years have passed since batman begins, gordon's children, the new wayne tower, the new batman base, the newspapers, etc.
You are suggesting that we ignore practically everything that the movies tell us to listen to a series of shorts that have nothing to do with Christopher Nolan.
Why couldn't we do the same but in reverse?
Pay attention to the movie and ignore Gotham tonight, which is also quite inconsistent due to the issue that I told you about Bruce's age, that they say that he arrives in the city at 31 when in the beginning we clearly see that he just turned 30 at the end of the movie .
In addition to that rule of 3 to ignore the prop, we must also ignore the date of July 18, 2008 that Gordon shows.
So we don't even know what year TDK occurs.
Also, the people who saw gotham tonight are quite minor.
Even the official page of the TDK advertising campaign gives reports from the years 2006 and 2007.
The most consistent timeline gives Batman Begins in 2005.
Gotham Tonight is pretty inconsistent even with itself.
The only thing that supports that batman begins happens in 2007 is the dialogue of the Joker and Gotham tonight.
While what makes batman begins happen in 2005 is not only because of the props that say 2005 all over the place, but also the internal logic of the trilogy is much better this way.
In the third movie, Ras explicitly tells Bruce that he fought the decline of Gotham for years.
Gotham Tonight should not be considered canon just because the actors and the characters themselves appear there.
It is a promotional made by Warner.
Nothing else .
Many times the extra promotional content complicates and contradicts what the movie says.
The manual of the night knight says that Bruce in TDK has been batman for 5 years on page 34, it is a quote written by Bruce Wayne himself.
To make the Nolanverse timeline we have to focus only on the movies, all promotional material that came out of this contradicts all the internal logic of the movies.
Why listen to Gotham tonight? Nolan was not involved and contradicts everything he said in interviews.
Said Bruce had a plan

I appreciate the references, very resourceful. :)

I'd be willing to accept that Gotham Tonight gets the timeline wrong. Things like the Narrows timeline I would just ignore, but I'd still include it if I were to change it. I'd just say that the characters in the show are very incorrect.

I never said we ignore props entirely. I said that props can be wrong, which is true. It's all about prioritising the most important information. That's why, for instance, I've placed The Batman in 2019 rather than 2021 for the time being (which is easy to change should future projects not support that interpretation). Prop dates are incredibly helpful and most of the time they should be used, but they're not infallible.

2005 - Batman Begins
2007 - Batman: Gotham Knight
2008 - Gotham Tonight 1x01-1x06
2008 - The Dark Knight
2016 - The Dark Knight Rises

The scripts are clearly canon.
The movie literally adapts the script to the screen.
The script is the movie but extended with a couple of extra data.
I have read the scripts of the trilogy and all 3 are consistent with the movies and they do not change many things other than giving more context about the age of some characters, they specify that Rachel is 2 years older than Bruce and that Alfred was 50 years old when Bruce lost their parents.
Also some extended scenes like a little explanation about how the Joker escaped from Bruce's Penthouse.
You just have to pay attention to the movies.
In begins we see Gordon's children as babies and in TDK they are already big, the whole environment is different.
Batman has inspired imitators and been around long enough for veteran cops to get excited about his return in rises.
It's like the Snyderverse.
There are 2 justice league movies but in the snyderverse the snydercut is canon while in the dceu the whedon league is canon.
Both are made by Warner Bros. but the universe canon depends on the author.
The same applies to Nolan's trilogy.
The canon only eradicates what Nolan dictates.
Nolan directed and wrote the main trilogy and gave approval for gotham knight to happen between begins and tdk .
Nothing else .
That's all canon of the Nolanverse.
Gotham tonight is just more promotional material that is not canon at all, maybe it is semi-canon, the events of the series do occur in the Nolanverse like the first victim of scarecrow and the elections.
But the chronology they present is totally self-contradictory and ruins the canon that the Nolanverse had on its own.
Remove gotham knight and the chronology works better, everything has to do with Nolan.
But with Gotham tonight we're sacrificing quality for quantity.

No problem, I've been researching the Nolanverse chronology for years and I've come across many possible timelines.
The most consistent is the one I suggested with batman begins in 2005, TDK in 2008 and TDKR in 2016 and 2017.
Gotham tonight I do consider it canon except for the dates they give.
For me they occur in 2008 before TDK.
Gotham Knight takes place between 2006 and 2007.
It is a pleasure to be able to contribute to the Nolanverse chronology, I think there is a lot of misinformation about it, some say that it started in 2003 and ended in 2017 and others in less than 1 year.
The props many times helps to know the chronology of a movie and sometimes contradicts it like the Batman 89 newspapers that do not have the slightest sense in dates.
The batman I do think it happens in 2019.
The prop points this out.
Also an interview with a person in charge of the film reveals what happens in 2019.
Many people believe that it happens in 2022 just because of its release date.
Riddler's identification also indicates that they are in 2019, the newspapers also indicate this.
For me this is more than enough for the batman to happen in 2019.
There is nothing that says 2022 even the license plates of the taxis say 2019.
Nice to talk about this.
The truth is that I am very interested in timelines in superhero movies.

The script is essentially deleted scenes. Deleted scenes can be helpful but they are not necessarily canon. I believe that any information from the script that is not contradicted can be canon absolutely, like character ages, but I wouldn't use it as a strict source.

I share an interesting fact.
The Dent act was approved in 2010 based on a blackgate board that came out in rises in March.
In TDK Harvey in one part locks up 500 criminals at the same time in a trial where in the documents it is seen that it is July 25, 2008, this occurs after the interrogation of Lau.
Harvey tells the mayor to think about what he can do with 18 months of clean streets.
If we fast forward 18 months from this we arrive at the beginning of 2010 .
On those dates those who were imprisoned by Dent would be released but the Dent act prevented them from leaving just before their day of departure arrived.
That's why Blake says they were sentenced to 8 years in prison for the Dent Act.
For that these criminals should have been locked up in 2008 .
And the rest of the dates agree with this.
They are men who were incarcerated at TDK and have not been released in 8 years when they were about to be released they were re-incarcerated by the dent law.

I think that the scripts are a pretty good source that can be completely correct if it doesn't contradict something that is seen in the movie and gives data that is not given in any other medium.
Some ages of characters are practically impossible to get since they are not in any other promotional material and in the movie the only age reference there is are assumptions.
In the absence of sources, this is the only one that could be valid by not compromising things or contradicting them.
Bruce turns 30 in begins at the end as seen in the movie.
If the capture of Falcone as indicated in the Begins newspaper occurs in July.
Bruce's birthday should occur in October.
In the script they say that there are 3 months left and in the novelization they specifically say that it is October 13th.
At TDK Bruce would have 32 at the start and 33 at the end.
And in rises he would have 41 at the beginning and 42 at the end.
In your timeline you could also add what Bruce did between TDK and TDKR.
Some conversations with Talia within the movie say that Bruce Wayne was still a businessman after TDK.
Lucius mentions that he has been with the reactor project for 5 years.
So Bruce started it in 2011.
Bruce says that he could have been submerged for the last 3 years.
So in 2013 it was when he hid the reactor.
Blake's orphanage manager says Wayne Industries' funding ran out a couple of years ago.
In other words, there were no funds since 2014.
The most correct timeline in my opinion is this:
2005: batman begins
2006,2007 and early 2008: Gotham Knight.
early 2008: gotham tonight.
mid to late 2008: the dark knight.
March 2010: the Dent Act is approved and implemented.
2011 : Bruce starts the Miranda Tate reactor project
2013: After Dr. Pavel discovers the way to turn it into a bomb, Bruce hides it and retires completely locked up in his mansion.
2014: Wayne Industries runs out of funds for orphanages.
An extra fact that I want to add is that Bane's assault on the plane occurs 6 months before Batman returns in TDKR.
In her scene with Miranda Tate, she says that Dr Pavel was presumed dead 6 months ago in a plane crash.
So that assault occurred either at the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016.

Well, looks like there's a few things that need changing then. What day do I currently have that as?

Well, looks like there's a few things that need changing then. What day do I currently have that as?
I'm not sure but I put together this TDK timeline. July 18: bank robbery July 19: Dinner with Dent and Rachel. July 20 : Joker and the mafia (in the script they specify that this happens during the day) July 21: Bruce receives his new suit July 22 : Bruce and Alfred plan the trip to Hong Kong and carry it out, when it is dark Rachel and Harvey go to the Moscow Ballet. July 23: Bruce is on his sailboat and goes to Hong Kong apart (this type of trip usually lasts half a day) tonight Joker kills Gambol. July 24: Lucius arrives in Hong Kong and at night Batman takes Lau. July 25: Lau returns to Gotham and Harvey Dent sends him to court, that same night Bruce fights the joker in his penthouse. July 26 : Dent sends Lau to the county jail and that same night Bruce takes a brick. July 27: Commissioner's funeral. July 28: Dent claims to be Batman that same night Rachel dies. July 29: Joker blows up a hospital and at night confronts Batman. July 30 (midnight on July 29, remember that Joker was going to blow up the ships at that time and the clock shows the time so they are already on July 30) : Harvey Dent dies
