Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with the connections between The Green Hornet TV show and radio show? Specifically, I noticed that the Wikipedia article states that there's a reference to the Green Hornet of the radio show being the father of the Green Hornet in the TV series in the first episode, but I'm unable to track down anything more specific than this general statement. The dialogue of the scene in question is as follows: "Just like the old days when I lived in the same building with you and your father. Your Pa, rest his soul, was running things. I remember once we paid $5,000 to an axe murderer!". My first thought was that the axe murderer plot mentioned here was a reference to a radio show episode, but I can't find anything online about it.
