Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

With the non-existant females in the Tolkien books, I think adding an original one is needed. Because obviously Tolkien couldn't be arsed to have women in his stories.

Of course there are females in Tolkien's books...they're just rarely seen because they're all busy in the kitchen or doing laundry down by the stream...

Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

Does anyone else feel the Dwarf song in the trailer reminds them of this:

Because that is all I hear.

Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

I just came here to post the trailer, which i just saw for the first time. But it appears that not only have I already seen it, but I already posted it here...

I'm losing my mind.

Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

Yeah we already saw it...it's the one with all of the midgets singing Hi Ho Hi Ho It's off to work I go or something like that; I can't remember.

Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

Is anyone seeing this in the higher frame rate? I know it's not at all theaters but it was in quite a few if I remember correctly.

Re: The Hobbit - Part 1

I might be. One of the theaters near me is a RPX (Regal Premium Experience) And I believe they said, that they will have a higher frame rate version of this film played there.

Do you know how to find out what frame rate it's in? I've heard bad things so I want to see it in 24.
