I don't remember exactly, but I had learned that the two universes are connected, and the creator and producer confirmed it. Since I'm French, I'm a bit in the loop 🤣. Still, some people think they're separate. I had found a website about it a long time ago.

Well, that would include a (transuniversal) crossover with Bloons (of all things, I know), which crossed over with Adventure Time, which crossed over with Futurama, so technically I'd have to cover it on my Animated Comedy timeline, but including Bloons is already a pretty deep and unnecessary cut, so if you wanna do it I won't stop you
You Should Just include masters Of the Universe

Is anyone familiar with Vampirella? The Dynamite Entertainment Wiki lists the Vampirella series by Harris Comics as occurring on Earth-818793, so I'm wondering if this is true and if Dynamite's Vampirella series actually treats them as in-continuity.

I've talked about it before but Vampirella is weird? It's kinda a baseline thing where they keep retconning her origin. It might all be one canon, might not, the original dynamite years ended with an unstoppable monster seemingly eating her universe and Vampirella being sent to a world where she's just a comic character. It's possible this was resolved off screen but I don't think they ever actually say so. So I don't really know unfortunately, I doubt the writers think too hard about it

Not sure if Chaos's still active on this site, but if they are I'll wait for them to do it before adding it
Honestly I don't think you even need to add Adventure Time and Bloons to your timeline just because Finn and Jake get a cameo in Futurama. The same season had Speed Buggy and Speed Racer cameo lol, they're just for fun.

Plus if you're adding adventure time because Multiverse you have to add all of cartoon network because they're all linked because of Crossover Nexus. And they're also in Fortnite along with Futurama, Family Guy and Simpsons so if you're going that far you'd have to add everything in Fortnite even 616 marvel

Is there about to be a new wave of Earth designations coming or something? Feels like you're implying it with this question

Nope, just curious. Vampirella doesn't have any Marvel-affiliated appearances to receive a reality designation anyway.

I would prefer not to have my real name in use on this site can you please edit the message?

The Adventure Time crossover is different, and there's more than just that one episode which suggests this. I'm probably not including it on the Simpsons timeline though, which is why I made it a separate thread.

Bloons is also different, but for a different reason. The Bloons/Adventure Time crossover is somewhat connected to both universes, so if I do one I'd have to do the other

Iirc the creators retconned the final film into just being a dream according to TVTropes

Also I think both the Highlander and Drunken Master film series are part of the original Mortal Kombat continuity. There was a prequel novel to the first game that mentioned characters from both films indirectly

It would be insanely funny if when the Marvel handbook gets around to giving Earth numbers to the Godzilla comic crossovers they just all have them be on the same Earth. Since each of them follow different Godzilla continuities this would result in all the Showa and Heisei films being firmly one Earth as well as GMK and TriStar Godzilla

Pro Bot's post broke it down

Since when has Shrek and Madagascar been the same universe???? Puss in Boots appeared in a few episodes of a Madagascar spin-off. I guess death never really caught up with him... or Shrek and Donkey for that matter, since they appear in The Pentaverate and Father of the Pride respectively, both set in modern day.

Weirdly enough, I've been thinking about this specifically ever since I rewatched The Last Wish a few days ago. I'd personally say there's not enough evidence to say actual Puss in Boots managed to survive long enough to be in All Hail King Julian!, but then again that show has some crazy lore that's definitely worth doing a timeline on just because of the mess of citations you'd have to give Season 9 (I think it's season 9? Idk that show was weird). Also, time travel canonically exists in Shrek (kinda) so it could very well be that.

Theorizer actually has a series on a Dreamworks shared universe theory, which is… actually not far-fetched, at all. Genuinely, of all the out-of-pocket Film Theory-esque theories he's done it's the one I most agree with.

I don't remember the name of the movie, but the one where holiday mascots are part of some secret society makes all Dreamworks media take place in a shared universe, depending on how you interpret it, sooooo…

Rise of the Guardians the movie is supposed to be the same universe as the books according to the author despite how little sense that makes. Remember when you watch the movie you have to remember that Jack Frost was never an actual human and was secretly an alien named Night Light the entire time!

Returning to the Bioshock Shared Universe, I think this are all the series set in this universe:

Bioschock (ofc) connects to System Shock (R.O.D.I.N. --> S.H.O.D.A.N.)

System Shock connects to Terra Nova (tho from what I read in the wiki, the reference was cut out from the Remake, retconning Terra Nova from the timeline)

System Shock connects to Wing Commander and Crusader (tho it's in-universe fiction, so we can ignore it)

Bioshock Connects to Go Home (Splitfire reference)

Go Home connects to Firewatch (The Accidental Savior Reference)

and that's it! So we have:

System Shock, Bioschock, Go Home and Firewatch.

I don't think them leaving it out in the remake really means that it's been made noncanon, as long as nothing contradicts it I'd assume Terra Nova is still canon. Both the original and remake should be equally canon

I looked into it, there was a claim that it was a dream by people who spoke to them at a convention, but with no reliable source, I don't see any reason to follow this. The Reunion short can just be set between 4 and 5 no problem.

If anything, 2 should be a dream.

Has anyone thought of doing a Planet of the Apes timeline?
I'm interested in how many timelines there are for the original films counting expanded universe material. I know that it's a closed loop, but I'm thinking about if certain comics don't fit with others. Are all the crossovers, like King Kong, Star Trek and Fantastic Four, able to fit with the other non-crossover comics? That's what I'm interested in.

Not too fussed about the reboots though. Sorry. 😭
