What font size is usually used for dates (on detailed timelines)?
I use the default size for the year (there's no option to set it) and the smallest size for the specific month/day (9).

Also, when setting the month, I make it small first before underlining it for the fact that the line will not change size.

Here's the difference:
1. ????
2. ????

I find a lot of people online saying Incredibles 1 takes place in 1962, but that can't be the case. The date's only given on one newspaper, and contradicts everything else shown in the movie. It implies supers would've gone underground in the '40s, which can't be the case as Edna dates Thunderhead and Stratogale's deaths by "cape" to the late '50s, where they're shown to be in full suits and doing superhero work without much care, so the 15 years between Supers being banned and Incredibles 1 can't place it in 1962

Edna Mode states: "November fifteenth of fifty-eight. All was well, another day saved when his cape snagged on a missile fin. Stratogale! April twenty-third, fifty-seven. Cape caught in a jet turbine."

Here are the dates I found.

I can't get an image right now, but Syndrome's data on Elastigirl states she went underground on October 13 1955, which is presumably when she had Violet Parr, which would place the first movie in 1969/70, though with the second movie happening right after around October it's most likely 1969

Due to Elastigirl being so against underground superhero work in the first movie, I'd say she most likely stopped being a superhero either when she had Violet, or when supers went underground

I'd say it's definitely a Summer month, since the second takes place right after the first, when school starts, so whatever summer month starts on a Thursday in 1969/1970 I guess
Remember, Incredibles II has a "Friday, October 25th" newspaper date. Looks like 1968 is our year.1754493152214.png

It doesn't line up with Syndrome's data though - which I'd say is more reliable as they had to write the information for it, as opposed to a newspaper - that same movie has one dated to 2002 I believe
Incredibles II only has that one Newspaper date I believe.

Sorry, I thought this was Incredibles II

I still feel as though the newspapers are unreliable in the franchise in general, so unless it doesn't contradict anything and there's nothing else to go off of, I wouldn't use them as a reference

I understand that, but with 2002 and 1962 randomly placed, I wouldn't put any newspaper dates into account
Well we know it's the 1960s since Edna talks about the 50s and then we get 15 years later on screen, so I think we can take any evidence of a 1960s placement as factual.

Does this apply for anything other than years, or specifically when stating a month and nothing else (since from looking at your other timelines it seems you state full dates (not including years) whenever possible, not just stating the month, then each day of the month

It doesn't concern years. It's actually rather simple.

Year 1 (Default size)
Month/Day 1 (Size 9, underlined after shrinking)

Media (default size)

Month/Day 2

Media

Year 2
Month/Day 1
Media

or specifically when stating a month and nothing else (since from looking at your other timelines it seems you state full dates (not including years) whenever possible, not just stating the month, then each day of the month
It would likely look really messy if I stated the month and then each individual day before the next month.
