Timeline Hub

Not to mention that flashbacks and flashforwards always shift from the present day rather than backwards from the start of the show.
How to forget 27x19, when there is a flashback to "two years ago" before Maggie was born, when Maude Flanders was alive and Lisa was still not vegan, all while 2010s era drones and phones can be seen.

Don't forget the worst episode that ruined any TL - Homer creating grunge with Sadgasm. (Yes that is part of the lore now.)

What do people think about the above sequence?

According to 'The History of the Marvel Universe' as narrated by a dying Galactus at the death of the universe, the sequence above is the future of the Marvel Universe. Since this book is meant to be the definitice history of the Marvel Universe, this might actually be the actual future of 616. The sequence above merges elements from various disparate alternate futures. The events of the sequence above is vague enough, it would be hard for future 616 comics to condradict it, especially since the Marvel universe almost always goes back to the status quo and the regular 616 status quo could easily lead to the above stuff.

For some reason, Marvel Wiki lists the above sequence as showing multiple different timelines (Earth-811, 928 etc.) instead of just one. I don't understand why, since Galactus clearly talks about the some version of DOFP leading to Deathlok leading to 2099 leading to Machine Man 2020 miniseries leading to Killraven leading to Maestro leading to future Guardians leading to Kang leading to a version of the Apocalypse-ruled future baby Cable was sent to. Perhaps the Wiki thinks so because Galactus says his memory is hazy, and thus the editors concluded that Galactus must be mixing up the events of different timelines in his memory? I don't see anything in the dialogue indicating he is mixing things up, just that he doesn't remember every detail, which must have been added bu the writer to keep things vague so they don't get condradicted by future 616 comics.

IMO, the above sequence is indeed the actual future of 616.
Let's see in 74 years whether 2099 is still the actual future of 616. Somehow I doubt it. :)

Apparently V/H/S/99's final segment uses the same creature design from Deadstream, which the filmmakers also made. I suppose that film can fit into the V/H/S/SiREN/Kids vs Aliens/The Black Phone universe. They might have just been reusing the same design for money but it stands to reason they'd be the same species.

1978 - The Black Phone
1985 - V/H/S/85
1994 - V/H/S/94
1998 - 10/31/98 (Alternate Ending)
1999 - V/H/S/99
2012 - V/H/S
2013 - V/H/S/2
2014 - V/H/S: Viral
2015 - Gorgeous Vortex
2016 - SiREN
2018 - V/H/S: Video Horror Shorts 1x01, "Stray Dog"
2018 - V/H/S: Video Horror Shorts 1x02, "Rearview Window"
2018 - V/H/S: Video Horror Shorts 1x03, "The Nest"
2018 - V/H/S: Video Horror Shorts 1x04, "First Kiss"
2022 - Deadstream
2023 - Kids vs. Aliens
2024 - V/H/S/Beyond
Might need a full thread soon...

616's sliding timescale would just move that specific 2099 version (not even the main 2099 version, so it can easily be moved) seen in the sequence further into the future, so not a problem, really.

Curious to see what the Godzilla crossovers would look like. This is it.

True. Although the name 2099 wouldn't really make sense anymore.
You're right but it seems this isn't the main 2099 version but a one-off version from a composite timeline. So, no big deal if this specific one is moves after 2099 IMO. It's not like they have to rename the title of the main version.

As an example of changing the dates, they placed Machine Man 2020 after SPDM 2099 in that sequence. The OG took place in 2020 but they changed it because the OG date was outdated obviously.

So, now there's the Connery-Brosnan Movie Universe, the Never Say Never Again Universe, the Craig Universe, the Dynamite Universe, and now the First Light Universe, the 1967 Casino Royale Universe. Am I missing any?

tbh Never Say Never Again isn't official, so I would not count that. And you forget about what started it all, the novel universe.
