I just read this statement suggesting that Godzilla vs. Hulk is about the second Godzilla in the Showa timeline.

Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four #1 has the original Godzilla return after being defeated by the Oxygen Destroyer. In Godzilla vs. Megaguirus, the original Godzilla wasn't killed by the Oxygen Destroyer.

Godzilla vs. Hulk #1 was confirmed to be about the second Godzilla in the Showa timeline.

Despite using the Heisei design, Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1 references Godzilla vs. Hulk #1.

Godzilla vs. X-Men #1, despite featuring a robot created using parts of defeated Heisei monsters, has a flashback to Godzilla Raids Again.
