move to rename "Ultimate Marvel Universe" to "Marvel: I Love the 90s Edition".

Its so true about the circular nature of pop culture...the 70's experienced a minor revival in terms of fashion in the 90's, and now the 90's will experience a bit of revival in the comic worlds (in both cheap gimmick covers and cheap gimmick dialogue and storylines!).

Part foil, part hologram, these reflective covers will jump at you from shelves! Watch as Spider-Man’s webbing catches the light! Examine the intricate technology of Tony Stark! And, yes, that’s Captain America’s shield shining back at you!

i don't know about you guys...but I'm sold!

“This is Marvel doing the nineties right,”
haha, brilliant!

I don't care if this represents all that is wrong with comics, the sales pitches are amusing enough to make up for the stupidity

I'm not surprised that Zombie Panda thinks that hand jobs are the same thing as getting laid.

Not to mention the dramatic and drastic raising in prices, which, let's not forget, played a huge part in crippling the industry to the point that Marvel was yea close to filing for bankruptcy.

Marvel is run by idiots. They are advised by idiots. It's a company of idiots who are completely out of touch with their fan base, more so than any other company I've ever seen.

Yes, and they all act so condescendingly above us. Have you seen Bendis' Twitter feed?

Buy DC!

Bendis is an ******* supreme. He does the same thing on his message board which is why I never go there. He has a pretty incredible opinion of himself.

So I contacted my LCS about getting foilogram covers and they told me it was only a 1 in 25 variant cover. So if I wanted one I would have to buy 25 issues and the variant but it would be at a discounted price of $65. So I'm not getting one.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Milk 'em dry, Marvel!!

Jesus...whats sad is that there will be some people who will spend money on that...of course, I was one of the *******s who spent money on Ultimates 3 and the currently running Ultimatum even though I knew they would suck, and had it confirmed when reading the first issues...but I kept on buying out of "completion's sake". AAAHHHHHH!!!

that's weird. most comic stores just set the variants aside from the regular covers and charge $20 for them
