Has it ever been referred to yet? If so, which title, and in what context?

Might be useful as a stand-in for writing about the more developed/industrialized nations of South-East Asia, where technological advancements and steady economic growth have been unevenly matched with conflicting rates of cultural/social change: Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

It could be ok but only if its used in the right context. The Industrial/social growth idea is good but there needs to be the right story to explore soemthing like that, not just having it as a location where things can happen like in 616.

Well, obviously. But I think this is meant to be roughly analogous to a similar function that Ultimate Wakanda could serve in the Ultimate Universe (only Wakanda would be the Africa to Madripoor's East Asia and as such, would have a significant amount of cultural and geographical differences for context).

It would need to acknowledge the traditional Madripoor population (ie. A bunch of crooks.)
