At least people aren't saying Carnage is Peter anymore. Although I found it funny that Bendis makes a crack about Carnage being Gwen, and then at the end of 62, Carnage's face morphs to a Gwen-ish one after he/she/it drains her.

I guess technically Carnage is Peter, but only as a clone. He exists as his own being, but it's Peter. Does that make sense?

Hmmm...
I still don't see why the clone has any Peter-bits, since it was grown from his blood. That always rankled on me about the 616 Clone Saga: how the hell did they program the clone to have all Peter's memories and stuff?

It's comic book science... They exagerate to get a story going. It's working fine so far in the Ultimate Universe.
