Plot Summary: The sequel to the $100 million worldwide hit, "Underworld: Evolution" continues the saga of war between the aristocratic Death Dealers and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). I got promo posters and stickers for the new movie while in Salem this past weekend.

The first movie can be summed up as follows:

I OPEN A DOOR. I WALK AROUND AND/OR TALK TO SOMEONE. I SHOOT A BUNCH OF PEOPLE. I OPEN ANOTHER DOOR.

I'll still see the new movie, though. It's worth it to see Beckensale in tight

That is such a load of bull.

There is nothing that Underworld did that wasn't done elsewhere outside of White Wolf and before White Wolf existed. Underworld isn't ripping them off because it's using existing vampire pop culture. At worst, it's incestuous.

What makes White Wolf's take on vampires unique is the multiple factions and tribes, each representing the plurality of vampire representations --- the brutal, the hedonistic, the cultured and the calculating --- mixing all the archetypes together.

The werewolves were the vampires' slaves back in the day. The werewolves had an uprising. During the uprising a werewwolf and vampire fell in love. The vampire girl just happened to be the daughter of one of the most important vampire kings. The king found out that his daughter was pregnant by the wolf and killed his own daughter in front of the werewolf for fear of what the abomination she would have. The werewolf then became the leader of the werewolves and their uprising. They've been battling ever since.........
