What comics would you get?

Alright, if you HAD TO only get two comics from each of the main four companies, which are Marvel, DC, Image and Darkhorse, what comics would you get?
 
Marvel:
Runaways (If Vaughan stays on forever, then this is a good read)
The Ultimates (Maybe switch when Millar/Hitch leaves)
Reserve: Ultimate X-Men (It should be good)

DC:
Ex Machina (When it finishes, then I'll get something else)
Y: The Last Man (When it finishes, I'll get something else)
Reserve: Batman/Superman (The issues I've read have been pretty good)

Image:
Invincible (It's fun)
The Walking Dead (I've heard great things)
Reserve: Something else, can't remember right now.

Dark Horse:
Hellboy (Is this still going on? I've heard the Mignola stuff is good)
Conan (Ultxon loves this, so I guess I'd give this or Goon a try)
Reserve: One of the Star Wars books.

Do they still make Sin City? I thought it was finished?
 
Out of those four companies, I think Dark Horse would appeal to me the least.

Wait, you mean there are OTHER comic companies?

Pfft.

Seriously, i could care less about Image or Dark Horse.

I'm a DC boy, with a soft spot for Marvel. That's how it goes.

Honestly, I know little to nothing about the other specified companies.
 
You guys need to research about Image and Dark Horse. Or at least buy some of the titles available from them. There's a lot of great comics out there not published by Marvel or DC.

Unfortunately, these are all hidden by the crap ones.

Unfortunately, It comes down to "Have" and "Want". I "Have" little money, I "Want" Cable & Deadpool.

I'm sure there are some good ones...I read the new solits every month, and nothing really grabs me. It would be nice to be able to get all of the ones that I might like if I just read them, but at $3 a pop I really can't afford it.

Hrm...

You see, I don't WANT to look into them, because I'm already spending upwards of $20 a week.

The only indy comic I get is Strangers in Paradise.

He is right. There are soooo many good comics outside of the top two, but people never explore. They just don't realise there are comics about other things bar superheroes.

You should atleast try out The Walking Dead. It's only one more comic.

Um... I don't actualy get any Dark Horse Monthlies, but Hellboy is good, and the Revelations Mini-series is good so far. I'm expecting to really get into The Goon when I pick up the HC this week too.
