Haloid (Samus Aran Vs. Master Chief)

pretty damn cool.
Some star wars and matrix rip offs but still really cool.

Some ripoffs?

The whole thing was a ripoff

The ending was predictable and stale

Obviously, this was done by someone who needs to see more sunlight

*****, *****, *****...

Jesus Houde, you're starting to sound like VVD.

Give the guy some credit, the animation was very well done for an amateur, no matter how big a rip-off it is (and "rip-off" isn't the right word anyway, since I'm pretty sure the guy didn't intend anyone to think he was the first to use such techniques).

It was cool, and just as it should've been done: with Samus kicking Master Chief's (or should I say Mistress Chief's) *** most of the fight.

It only could've been better had Samus and Ms. Chief had ended the clip with a hard-core lesbian encounter.

I concur with DIB. Don't go down that road, Houde. I love you just the way you are (were?)

pretty cool fight and I liked it

I did not like ending thou. They made them lesbians? ok I'm all for lesbians but that was just wrong.

Still pretty cool though

Lame. I'm with Houde (for once). This was really stupid. Good animation for an amateur, but still lame. I don't even want to know why the Master Chief is a lesbian.

And for those of you who claim that Samus could beat up the Cheif...shame shame.

You're delusional. This movie proved why (whether you liked it or not). Samus is faster and more agile than Master Chief: his armor is too bulky and slow (especially compared to Samus').

There really is no argument for Master Chief to win in a fight between the two. Samus wins, hands down.

What?? Are you kidding? If your as big a Halo geek as I am, and you've read the Halo novels, then you know that the chief can run a mile in under a minute. His armor responds directly to his thoughts; theoretically, he can accomplish any physical feat that he can think of. He dodges shells from tanks, tears through titanium, bullets bounce off him! He has the most prestigious military training of anyone ever. He'd kill Samus before she knew what hit her. End of story.

Samus would win no doubt. Like DirishB said she is faster and more agile. As well as that Metroid has been around longer so you could say she also has the experience.

Now after completing both Halo 1+2 and few Metroid games Samus has completed a lot more dangerous missions against a lot tougher enemies. There for ANYONE who says Master Chief would win , clearly needs their head checked.

...Do people even read my posts? How old is Samus? In her 20's? Yeah, I'm not impressed. The Chief is over 50 years old, being kept alive by supersoldier enhancements. He's been on the most dangerous missions the UNSC could throw at him. Samus does not have more expericene, and she is not quicker or "more agile". This is a mistake that many female martial artists make; They think that muscle and strength is irrelevant because they're faster. Bruce Lee was fast; He had also toned his body to the peak of human perfection. Samus would get her *** handed to her because she lacks the correct millitary training to go one on one with the chief.

Samus is capable of the same. She's more agile and faster than MC, no doubt about it. I've played both series of games, and I have also read the Halo novels.

Sure, Master Chief is tough as hell, but he's still using human technology. Samus has an advantage there. He armor responds to thoughts as well (duh! why you'd use that as an argument point is beyond me in comparison to Samus). She also doesn't use bullets, but high-intensity plasma which even the Chief's suit can't stand up to.

You're just a Halo fan-boy, so you're unfairly and incorrently biased.

Let me put it this way...how many Spartans were there? Hundreds? All with the same military training and equipment.

And how many are still alive? Yeah, just the one...Master Chief.

There's only one Samus, and only ever will be. And thats cuz she's a bad-*** bounty hunter who can kill MC anytime of day.

Exactly. When DIrishB is right boy is he right

If you had actually read the books, you would know that there were closer to 50 Spartans, and the MC is NOT the only one still living. He's just the only one playable in the games. And do you know why Spartans die? Because the UNSC is desperate and has them face unreasonable odds because they're out of options. "5,000 covenant are rampaging on Reach and destroying our last stronghold? Throw 20 Spartans at them." While I still maintain that in hand to hand, the Chief would tear out Samus' spine, he wouldn't let it come to that anyway. He's too smart for that; She'd end up with a bullet in her head the second she got out of her ridiculous little ship.

but wouldn't her armour protect her from bullets? isn't that like the whole point of armour?

How ever Samus's weapons are more advanced as well meaning gun fight - Samus would win

Hand to hand - Samus would win that too.

Samus is such a great warrior she even sleeps in her armour (Anyone remember the Mario rpg on snes  )

Her armor doesn't make her invunerable. The Chief has perfect aim; a few headshots would do it. Anyway, I'm done argueing this. Think what you want. If I ever learn how to properly animate in CG, the first thing I'm going to do is make a 10 minute video that is just the Chief punching Samus in the face.

I have read the books, all four (I read Ghosts of Onyx as soon as it came out last October), as well as the graphic novel. I'm a Halo fan as well as a Metroid fan, which is why I'm much less biased in my argument.

And excuse me for not remembering the exact number (I was thinking of how many started the Spartan training, not the ones who survived it).

He's just the only one playable in the games. And do you know why Spartans die?

If you had actually read the books, you'd know that "Spartans never die" and blah blah blah...

I don't at all regret to inform you that you're irrevocably mistaken.

In hand to hand, I'm tempted to agree that Samus might lose to Master Chief, but just as you said MC wouldn't allow it to get to that point, neither would Samus. And there's no way Master Chief is faster or more agile than Samus (no matter how fast he can run). Samus' suit has the ability to power up in various ways (something MC's suit lacks), thereby allowing her to be more versatile and choose what might work best depending on the situation. Against Master Chief, it'd be as simple as jumping around and shooting at him, knocking his shields down until she makes the killing blow.

Samus also has a much higher life/damage level than MC. Once his shields are down, it doesn't take much to kill him. Samus has the ability to hold 8-10 extra energy pod, giving her much more endurance than MC.

Samus has an advantage in agility, speed, weapons, and suit. Their respective levels of experience could be argued until Armageddon, but even including the Halo novels and other side stories, Samus has appeared in more games and thereby probably has more experience. She also has faced a MUCH wider variety of enemies, whereas Master Chief has only taken on the Covenant and other humans/Spartans (in training). Granted, this can be argued since we're not privy to MC or Samus' entire back-history, etc.

Either way, Samus has the advantage. And she definitly has the same killing instinct.

Lame.

And her armor makes her invulnerable to anything but energy-based weapons (its a Chozo Powersuit, much more advanced than anything the UNSC could construct, however cool the Spartan suits are). Therefore, Chief's standard weapons wouldn't even leave a scratch. He'd have to resort to Covenant weaponry.

And MC is a great shot against enemies he's used to fighting. Samus is something totally beyond anything he's taken on before. No Covenant or Flood move as quickly as she does.
