I do. But this Mysterio arc is the only good one for FNSM so far. The Spidey 2011 and masked wrestler ones both sucked

Oh thats right, it was that Wrester one..... man that sucked to.
Once i get Myesterio arc, and find out it was crap, i'm sorry i'm going to drop it

So, did anyone else pick up this issue besides me, Lith, HBM, and (soon) Shihad? QUOTE]

I actually liked the masked wrestler arc. The Spider 3000 or whatever arc was wack. It sucked. So far the Mysterio one is ok..

So what did people think of the final parts to the Mysterio arc? I loved it personally, and the shot of Beck with half his head blown off was awesome!
We also have 'mysterious school nurse lady' who seems to be up to something, and Undead-Beck working for someone...

#14

Second best issue of the series so far. The first was #11, 'I Hate A Mystery' part 1.

Great art by Eaton, whom I'd never even heard of before.

Cameos by (sort of) Wolverine, (sort of) Punisher, (sort of) Ben Reilly.

Deb Whitman returns, and is living with her mother.

At least during her visit to the city. :p

The Vulture is hired by the Pro-Reg to take down Spidey (or so we think).

And, since this takes place after the most recent Amazing Spider-Man issue, the red and blue costume is back.

Plus, Ms. Arrow just may be what emerged from that cocoon webbed to the church (which makes an appearance this issue) from the storyline "The Other."

And finally.... I got another letter printed!!!

4.5/5

Finally got the chance to read FNSM #14

This is the hottest Spider-Man issue since a real long time. And I hope the rest of the events will be as nice as they are in this issue

Someone said Ms. Arrow M - Arrow -> MARROW!!! in the newslatter behind , and I think the reply from Marvel pretty much confirmed that!!!!

Peter acting like Ben Reilly :) it's a cute note too.
And Peter imitating Wolverine and Punisher , that's another case :)

Also the appereance from Beast is nicey too. It's been some time since I saw him around (I don't read comic books about X-Men they suck even worse than Spider-Man stories).

I think someone watched Ultimate Central and wrote this story. it's like a reply to us all :)

so i asked Peter David when the real ben reilly was going to pop up, because it's inevitable, and he said "i could tell you but then i'd have to kill you"

should i go for it?

A 4/5 for me, but that's because of Colbert. Even if Colbert was in on this with PAD, since he's also a comic fan and all, this still took me out of the comic for a good page or two. But I still love this issue. What do you think happened to the vulture at the end there?

I think they did a better job in FNSM#14, still I liked this Issue,
just because it still follows The Other.
(Ms Arrow ate a spider in front of Flash Thompson :))

normally this issue deserves an 3.5/5 but since it's not what I expected after the great FNSM#14 it's note is 3/5

In recent times...

Over all, I like the style and format that Peter David has picked up for this series. I haven't read all that much of his work, but I think i isn't that much different from his usual writings, but then again it is still good.
And the issue at hand: Let me see if I can remember, Sandman and Ben Parker plus the dirty dealings of the two-faced Flash Thompson. I'm subscribed to this and ASM, but I like the way this one isn't tied in so tightly, but still shows the Marvel Universe at work. I'm not reading Civil War, so ASM is somewhat of a nuisance, but FNSM is still quite good.

Even the Previously Page kicked *** this month!

Peter David needs to stay on this title forever, or as long as this title lasts.

I was able to finally put to rest all my frustration over the Alternate Uncle Ben storyline, which David executed beautifully, much like the way Damon and Carlton tell their sprawling saga over on LOST.

I'm enjoying the issue-by-issue encounter with The Other. I mean, Arrow's gotta be The Other, right? Obviously.

Next issue will be the first issue that Weiringo doesn't provide cover art for. I sure will miss it.

Only down side? No letters page. (Let's see if I can do something about that.....)

4.5/5

Agreed, the previously pages' are great now. (This comic is so much better than ASM.) The tie up for Ben Parker was great, since I didn't get it until then and it was just starting to bother me and all of a sudden, "Cool, that's what happened."

On the topic, I read the Spider-Man 3 novelization by David and I'm thinking that that was the reason he brought Flint into FNSM.

The Other story is here. Flash and Arrow (Ero), Spidey and Betty.
Awesome.
