A new Blade movie?

That will be weird , While the films were not close to comics or as good as they could of been (still love them) but Wesley Snipes was perfect.

Just throwing this out there but if Marvel will be the ones with the rights and they reboot it could they allow Sony to do the whole "Blade and Morbius" thing in Spider-man 4 or 5?

I have nothing against a remake, but isn't it kind of pathetic to reboot a franchise that is BOTH relatively young AND good?

That would rock

Or they could also do a Midnight sons thing with Strange,Ghost rider,Blade, etc

I think a 'Midnight Sons' line up, radically reinvented and retooled, would make a great TV show.

I think it would be tolerable if it were one or the other.

A young bad franchise, or a good old franchise... but this is just I dunno, sad.

Go make a Deathlok movie or something, Marvel.

Hell, go make a Darkhawk movie.

It's still not enough of a reason to bring back the whole thing and say, bring the character back, who fairly or not, will be unfavorably compared to Wesley Snipes.

And regardless, two out of three ain't bad.

They are making a Deathlok movie.

They are making a Deathlok movie.
I know. Paul McGuigan is helming it, if i recall correctly. I don't know why I'm even remembering this because I'm not even a Deathlok fan.

Regardless, it's still not ANYWHERE close to production, so as far as I'm concerned it's not far along enough to say 'They are doing a Deathlok movie'. I mean Nick Cassavetes was attached to Iron Man for a whole year before he bailed, and Peyton Reed was attached to do Fantastic Four for eighteen months.

Deadpool movie

...Or wait Nextwave movie

...or a stingray movie

It's a Shame Marvel didn't own the rights to the X-men movies , I love them sure BUT the up coming Wolverine would of been very cool if it tied up with the Hulk movie they are making for the whole Wolverine going after Hulk before joining X-men thing.

I read this news a few days age and its ****ing stupid. This is Hollywood being unoriginal again. A reboot worked wonders for Batman Begins cause it was part of a new generations of film, years after the last Batman film set in the new universe I wouldn't be surprised if they did another reboot. Which is fine if enough time has passed and the way films have change. You might need an update. But the Blade films are still a part of this generation of superhero films even though the last two sucked.

I would not mind a revamping, like the Hulk, where its not a new origin story or not necessarily new universe. But a new cast, director, writers, etc. Take a different direction is fine, but a complete reboot is retarded
Nextwave should be a series of five minute animated shorts, that are only VERY loosely connected together to form some kind of a story.

Seriously.
So it should be on Adult Swim then?

I guess it would, but not that it's terribly important that it be there.

I mean we ARE speaking hypothetically anyway, so all I'm thinking about is the format. And five minutes of pure concentrated non sequitur humor about superhero fight logic in animated form seems like the best way to go about it.

Think Clone Wars, only as intelligently dumb fun.

It could also work as a Flash animated webisodes to be displayed at Marvel's website.

That's pretty much what Adult Swim is 15 minute episodes of any crazy random ideas

Doesn't mean it's the only network/schedule block that can do it.

Seriously, I don't even know why the network is so important? Is this from the same school of discussion as "It's GOTTA be on HBO!"?
