That is another damn fine cast.

Seriously - this is my favourite Dreamcasting we've done so far. Every cast is great.

You can't be serious about my cast. It sucks. I picked John Corbett for one reason only: because he reminds me of John Cassady, who reminds me of the Drummer. Matthew Lillard is the only man who can play the Drummer.

I've been working on my cast for awhile. I hope this round doesn't close just yet. I think I've got the purrrrrrrrrrrrfect Elijah and Randall.

My cast... currently a work in progress. I should be done by the end of the day.

I give you The Four Voyagers, featuring:
  • Sam Neill, the psychologically unstable Dr. Weir from Event Horizon as Dr. Randall Dowling.
  • Radha Mitchell, the Australian thespian who specializes in tough motherly roles in films like Silent Hill as Kim Suskind.
  • Josh Lucas, the raspy-voiced master of smug from such films as Hulk and Stealth as William Leather.
  • and Kiefer Sutherland, a menacing military man from The Sentinel and Phone Booth in an 'uncredited cameo appearance' as Jacob Greene.

07-planetary-others.jpg

Also featuring:
  • George Clooney, outspoken gentleman of international repute who played legal fix-it man in Michael Clayton, as John Stone, Agent of S.T.O.R.M.
  • Richard Burgi, the broad-shouldered alpha male of TV's The Sentinel and Cellular as the self-perfected man Axel Brass.
  • Joan Chen, the multi-talented enigma from such films as Lust, Caution and The Hunted, as modern day empress Anna Hark.
  • Ian McKellen, the secretive senior citizen from Apt Pupil and Gods and Monsters as the self-exiled great detective Sherlock Holmes.
The rest to come later tonight.

I don't know if I'll do a cast for this. I've been toying around with ideas and possiblilites.....but I can't really commit to anything.

My choices either seem too preliminary....too generic....and just don't work well.

Oh well....maybe next time. Maybe next time someone will decide to cast "Justice League" or maybe even Kirkman's "Invincible".

DONE! DONE! DONE!

07-planetary-three.jpg

  • Famke Janssen (left), the dizzyingly unpredictable seductress from I-Spy and FX's Nip/Tuck as the perpetually bored Jakita Wagner.
  • Billy Crudup, (right) the socially ill-mannered eccentric from Dedication and Trust The Man as the attention deficit info-psychic Drummer.
  • Rutger Hauer, the mischievous iconoclast from Blade Runner and Sin City as the anti-authoritarian explorer Elijah Snow.

  • Chiwetel Ejiofor, the morally self-doubting everyman from Talk to Me and Children of Men as the reluctantly heroic Ambrose Chase.
  • Billy Zane, the smug aristocrat with a spoiled brat countenance from Titanic and The Phantom, as self-superior jungle royal Lord Blackstock.
  • Ewan McGregor, the Scottish-born all-American man-child of films like Down With Love and Big Fish as orphan turned private investigator Jim Wilder.

I'm instituting the new "multi-vote" policy. Everyone can vote for as many as they want.

Wait.

Okay - how about you vote for your LEAST favourite? Huh?

Wait.

Okay - shut it.

SEND ME YOUR VOTES!

Voting for OUrchair so I don't have to compete with him next round.

Ourchair wins.

All the votes so far are for him. Not only that, but there's only one less vote this time round.

He's the super mega winner.

However, bonus points to Tog who's vote's subject read: "How is it that you talk so much and I still don't understand what you said."

Perhaps the most succinct and accurate description of me ever.
