PG-Friendly Asian Girls Thread

God, it's like an utopian future over there!

+250 Ourchair Points.

Incidentally, I just submitted a writer profile to my editor that says, "Matthew Arcilla is a racist, misogynist homophobe. He took driving lessons but then discovered that driving is what girls are for."

I wouldn't know if 'prairie nigger' is actually used in some parts of America, but Doom and I are making an overt reference to Scalped, a currently ongoing Vertigo series about organized crime in the heart of Native American culture.

You should all read it because it rocks.
Ah, that's where it's from.

I just thought it was a term for black cowboys.

Being Asian gives you the ability to tell different Asians apart.
It also gives you the ability to seamlessly blend into crowds.

"Jesus Christ. He went to Chinatown. How will we ever find him now?"
I don't drive.

As Warren Ellis says, "That's what girls are for."
I give the same excuse whenever people ask me why I don't have my license yet.

The real answer: I'm a ****ty driver.

To be honest, I have the same problem.

All the Koreans and Chinks looked alike to me in Europe.

You should brand other Asians for everybody else's conveniance.

It guest stars Dakota Fanning's stunt double from War of the Worlds. It's ****ing epic!
I prefer Dakota Fanning's stunt double from Hounddog.

Okay, one of the reasons this thread still exists --- as opposed to other girlie threads before that got deleted --- is (as E has explained to me) that I actually attempt to also talk about some little nuggets of Asian pop culture, that on some level, I attempt to be educational about teh girls. It has also briefly fed my interest on perceptions and taste on beauty standards (what can I say, I'm a Psych major)

So just to change gears I think I'm going to make the next few girls COMPLETELY de-emphasize anything to do with looks. It'll just be about girls who are interesting or prominent within Asian pop culture. No more pretty faces for the sake of being pretty for a while.

It's going to be just girls in pop culture. From Asia.

*points at Japan*
The impression I get from Japan is that their pop culture is both completely nothing like America, but exactly like America.

And in a sense, almost everything is pop culture. To quote Warren Ellis:
"Everything is pop culture. The Japanese making little porcelain dolls of anime girls taking a ****. Floria Sigismondi music videos. Web design. Graphic novels. Pop culture isn't a blanket term for "the most dilute mainstream crap you can think of." It's whatever the currency of the culture is, its expression and iconography in the moment."

Well to quote Warren Ellis as well:

"Moonmaster is completely right in this situation and Ourchair is completely wrong. It's quite obvious. I also believe that Ourchair is an ineffective homosexual and most likely a Communist."

It was in Bad Signal and everything.
