I can't seem to change my team's name or logo. I can replace members and stuff like that, but the name and logo can't be changed for some reason, even when I start a new game with the same stats. Do I have to start a completely new save file just to make a new team? Doesn't that mean I'll miss out on all my unlocked characters?

im not sure, but i don't think you can
 
I thought there was a button you pressed (either start or select for the PS2 version) that let you choose a logo?

EDIT: From Gemini's earlier posts:

go to the chracter select and hit R2 a screen should pop up and give you an option to pick a preset marvel team or create one from scratch pick "create one from scratch" it tells you to pick a logo then you name it, then you pick your characters and your set

thats how you create it, you can't change the name or logo afterwards though

Teh suckage!

That completely takes the fun out of making your own teams. I had a team called 'The Champions' where I was only going to have do-gooder superheroes (Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Torch, Iceman and others). So that's great and I finish the game. What next? Right! Finish it with another team. Only, they have to be called 'The Champions' too! That's crap! I was going to have a more 'badass' team this time around, with gun-toting rebels like Fury, Blade, Deadpool, etc and I have to stick them with the same gushy, superhero name? Ugh...

Ironically I was going to post it in this thread BUT thought people would want to talk about Spider-man, Then I figured create it's own but it didn't warrant one and that's as close to an all about games thread as we got.
 
Still no news on Ultimate alliance 2 , The annonuced spider-man game got news so hopefully we'll get some soon, I'm looking forward to 2 as I love the 1st one
 
Yeah, for a game they announced in February where they will release in the fall and no news and whatever. Come on! I know a lot of people didn't like the first one, but I had fun.
 
I thought it was great. I'm excited to see what they would do with a second one. It'll probably involve Galactus as the main villan.
 
The gameplay needs to change drastically. It needss to conform to have every hero actually be unique and do damage accordingly. I hated the fact the invisible woman and luke cage do the same amount of damage even though the difference in strength is enormous.

Yeah, AIM agents really shouldn't take fifteen hits to get killed by the Hulk or Wolverine.

That's the problem though. If strength was considered Hulk and Thing would just dominate and people like nick fury wouldn't get used as they would be too weak

I'm not saying they should be one-hit kills every time but the characters really shouldn't be even.

True, I just prefer them equal otherwise I know for a fact if I go to play online the charracters I want will be selected by others. Plus I like doing the level as Spider-man and 3 others then switching the others next level and having them play same stats but each having advantages.

E.g Playing through this on my girlfriends wii version we have here at our house , She always picks the human touch as she likes that fire can't hurt her and flying. I pick spider-man in black suit because ....... well that's obvious :lol: but we can play the same.

That's even more reason to completely change the gameplay and have certain characters for certain missions or doing the same level but taking alternate routes. Think of those books where you choose a certain option and then it tells you to go to page 28 and then you choose another option and you turn to page 30. It could be something like that but the other routes involve diferent characters and you could still have the option of choosing a backup who doesn't really belong in that level. That way you'd still have an option of choosing whoever you wanted.


Then again I'd like to see this game on a smash bro's related platform so you get a decent storyline but great multiplayer versus action.

I love that idea. I was just talking to my mate earlier at work and I said "I wish there was more smash bros style games. I would want a Marvel one and a DBZ one and possibly a Hasbro one like the cube had" Hasbro for transformers , star wars , marvel and more in one awesome game
