The Happening

Re: The Happening... yet again

Imagine every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light...
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Took me a second to get that one.
so ive seen another trailer that was pulled from online.

the general plot of the movie is not that people are disappearing...

its that an event is happening that is causing people to commit suicide. those people falling off the building threw themselves off it. in the first trailer i saw, a woman sitting on a bench knitting takes one of the big needles or whatever they are and stabs herself. It looks intense.

also reminds me a bit of Ultimate Nightmare's first issue.
That actually sounds kind of cool.

Oooh that's a lot more interesting

And even the few "fresh" reviews are lukewarm at best. This depresses me so much because I think this could be the official career-killer. Until this point, Shyamalan had three widely-loved movies and two failures, but now he's 3 and 3 and it's looking less likely he'll bounce back anytime soon. I SO wanted this to be his return to glory and acclaim. I was thinking of seeing it with friends tomorrow night since I can't see the Hulk until Saturday, and even if the reviews had been in the 40s or 50s I probably still would have because I try not to hold THAT much stock by them, but this is just so bad I can't justify it, because stuff like this almost never gets below 20% and when it does it usually means it's worst-of-the-year type material.

Sigh... better luck next time Night, and here's to there being one.:(

I think he's already started work on Avatar; they can't just take the project away from him, can they?

This movie sounded intriguing, but I just read the spoiler summary... and it's lame. Really lame. It sounds like there's not even a proper conclusion.

I think this movie would be a lot better if it had The Authority killing God at the end.

I argued with my friends for thirty minutes on whether we should go to this or Hulk. I was right on going to Hulk.

Has anyone else seen this piece of *** yet. I'm quite serious when I say that even a child being blown apart at close range with a shotgun could not retrieve it from the depths of misery and balls.

Dammit I'm so incensed I'm going to do a MS Paint job I think....

p.s. The shotgun thing was pretty ace though

Yeh, but if people could ask for their money back it would be a different story....
