Do you agree that Instant Replay is a good thing for baseball or not? Currently it's set up for just HR's, but I'm sure in due time it will be expanded to any controversial call.

My brother has been talking that he hates it. He finds it stupid and time wasting.

I myself think it's a great idea. Like I said, in due time, I'm sure Selig will make it for any call that is disputed. I'm sure he's probably saving that for when the season begins next year to really have the rules set out. There is always a bad call made by an umpire somewhere, especially when they set themselves up in a bad position to make the call. I welcome I.R. with open arms.

I hate it.

Human error is part of the game. Baseball's simplicity in that respect is one of the greatest things about the greatest sport.

There is no place for instant replay in any sport other than football.

So why is human error okay in football but not nowhere else?

Why? Why is football so special that they should only have it?

I'd rather have I.R. on a call when someone is actually safe tagging a base, where the umpire put himself behind the players
where he doesn't make the correct call, so it can be seen that he was wrong. That could be the difference in winning a game.

I approve, but it shouldn't halt the game that much. So maybe restrictions on limit. I can't say for baseball but I remember watching a NBA game where the refs made so many bad calls on one team it was just a huge wrong against the team.

So yes, but limited

Yeah, a limitation is perfect. This way any delay can be avoided.

You guys should watch hockey

on every questionable call they stop the game, and review it from every angle imaginable, in fast mo, slo mo, super fast mo, super slo mo, etc. it takes like 20 minutes

then they still get the call wrong
