Right after my dear prince calling my dear Farah a donkey, I felt really heart broken and Mirror's Edge came up to my attention...

It's nearly the same experience with prince of persia, only in first person, and the "pace" of the game is unbelievable... Faith just keeps running... and running... and running...

After the first hour in which you get used to the control system of the game, my dear girl Faith grabs you and never lets you go until someone tells you to turn off the game...

You'll find yourself jumping from rooftop to rooftop, with a total feeling of "vertigo", or running like insane through small corridors with people shooting behind you...even jumping from the top of one train to another with two trains running at 250 km/h....

Mirror's Edge offers a lot of action packed scenes like that, and it has an amazing tempo that never stops (unless you get a loading screen,or you get into an elevator)
An amazing feeling of Adrenaline....

It has been a great experience for me, right after Prince of Persia failed to impress me... And it's the very first game that EA published and I actually enjoyed since CRYSIS...

Everything he said.

Seriously, I love this game.

The learning curve for the game is big. I've spent at least 4 hours just playing the training stage, prequel and Chapter 1. The replay value is off the chain! Since there is so many different ways to come at obstacles, you can replay one scene and it never be the same. I mean yeah you have to upstairs....but how you get there is on you. Take the stair...or run along the walls, or run up pne wall bounce off the wall then grab the rail from above and pull yourself up, or try another combo.

I lurvs it so.

I played the demo for this, and I couldn't stop. In the demo alone, I managed to play the level four different ways.

If I actually had the gaming system to play this, I would own it by now.

Its my new favorite game and I don't even like first-person games. I barely got thru Killzone and despite my fondness for Black...I just couldn't finish it.

I totally understand. I had friends criticizing it for it's lack of massive amount of gunplay, but I foud it refreshing. Kinda reminded me of a grown up Jet Set Radio.

Bingo!

And I think those people are missing the point of the gameplay. It's not a shooter...it's a platform game in FPS.

Kinda reminded me of a grown up Jet Set Radio.

And who doesn't love that?

I have just beaten the single player scenario of the game... Well even if the "scenario" part is a cliche it has been extremely fun...

And the ending song "Still Alive" from Lisa Miskovsky(or something like that) is awesome. One of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard...
(Probably the 3rd best song after C&C Hell March and Prince of Persia Warrior Within's Straight out of Line)
