Created to talk specifically about any and all Martial Arts action movies and movie stars.

Me and my bro just watched the original Drunken Master and it was teh OWN.
Jackie Chan in his prime is almost unbeleivable to watch.

Definitely, Who Am I had my top favorite fight sequence. The rooftop fight, brilliant.

Is that the one where he was using the guy's clothing against him, so the other one was taking off those bits of clothing?

yeah that part was so awesome..and Jackie kept trying to prop him up to kick him but his legs were too rubbery to stand anymore haha.

Did Ong-Bak 2 come out last month? I heard it was coming this year

I don't imagine, it's any good by Tony Jaa is one hell of a practitioner of the art of butt-whup

Dude that is one of the best. Specifically the tie scene. How tedious must that have been?

Well yours was Best Fight Scenes from what i can see. Mine is just Favorite Martial Artists and Films in general. But at least we can talk about it again!

i honestly dont know how you can LOVE Bruce Lee and then take a complete 180 and HATE Jackie Chan..they are masters of entertainment and ass kicking. but to each his own i guess.

Bruce Lee is the founder of ass-kicking and if it wasn't for him, Jackie Chan wouldn't be the international movie star he is today.

I see the 2 as completely different beings.

Bruce Lee was a straight martial artist who starred in a handful of movies.

Jackie Chan is an actor who was trained in martial arts.

The difference is training. Jackie has always been a student of stage and screen. He's learned how to choreograph his entire fight scene and knows what looks great on screen and what doesn't.

Bruce knew martial arts and had an idea of how to choreograph a fight scene.

Thats not even close to being the truth.. Jackie Chan may have done a few jobs as an extra in a Bruce Lee flick but saying Jackie Chan would'nt have made it w/out Bruce is a huge mistake. Like Doom said they are both unique in their own right.
