Top 10 favorite comics currently.

I liked the first issue a bunch, but the second was a bit of a mess. And there have only been 2 issues in like 4 months... That's not a good sign.

Everyone knows the best comics are the ones that never come out.

10? I don't think I read 10 books.

But I have enjoyed reading the following this year: Runaways, The Ultimates, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Planetary, Ex Machina, Y The Last Man and Ultimate X-Men.

If only things were still this simple!

That is a brilliant observation.

I didn't include any minis (unless Scarlet is a mini? I can't remember).

1. Fantastic Four
2. Avengers Academy
3. Sweet Tooth (Admission: I'm four issues behind.)
4. The Amazing Spider-Man (Admission: I'm five issues behind.)

There are several comics I think are quite good right now (Chew), some that are good and MAY be great (Heroes for Hire), some that are just starting (Ghost Rider), and some that are inconsistent with occasional brilliance (Invincible Iron Man).

BUT - My current favourite comics are either on hiatus (Umbrella Academy) or cancelled (Immortal Iron Fist).

Oh well :(

Sorry to seem negative - I just feel a 'lull' right now. Its sad when the comic I most anticipate is Iron man 2.0 because it is a FI tie-in featuring Immortal weapons, or Secret Avengers (which is good in its own right) because I want to see some Prince of Orphans.

...and since Iron Fist, Shang Chi and Bride of 9 Spiders will be in 'Spider Island', I'll pick that up soon too! :)

In no particular order:
Sweet Tooth
Avengers Academy
Thunderbolts
FF
The Mighty Thor
Ozma of Oz
SHIELD
Moon Knight
New Avengers
Secret Avengers

Didn't include Ultimate Spider-Man because it's in transition. Would have included Amazing Spider-Man and probably Journey Into Mystery but I'm 11 issues behind on ASM and I haven't started Journey yet even though I own the issues.

Deadpool MAX
Detective Comics
Fables
FF
Hellboy/BPRD
Hulk
Mighty Thor
Moon Knight
Punisher MAX
Walking Dead

I didn't understand the last two issues of FF at all, nor the last issue of Mighty Thor. However, only Mighty Thor is booted off of my Top 10 list for that.

FF is going to make me read Annihilation and the rest of the cosmic stuff. Thor had Odin fighting a sweaty Galactus so it has replaced Invincible Iron Man on my list.

Don't read Cosmic Marvel. Hickman didn't follow what happened in it and left out huge details.

It will just annoy you.

As you've said, but I'm not inclined to agree. FF seems to continue from wherever those issues dropped off and weaves it all together. That, and what I read of ANNIHILATION and the rest, I found to be particularly dull. And if Cosmic Marvel is better, than Proj should read it and dump FF as you did.

As for my top 10... I don't think I'm picking up 10 comics, let alone enough to say "top" 10. FF, FABLES, PUNISHER MAX, DEADPOOL MAX, RED WING... I think that's about it. The rest are one-shots and odd little pieces.

You ****ing ****s always ****ing complaining about continuity and details. I'm going to read it anyway you ****s!
