Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

Star Wars Timelines book was released and people love it. You can see how it looks here:

As you can see in the video there's not much text actually, it's not as detailed as I thought it would be.
In Star Wars book the biggest events like battle for Naboo takes like 2 pages and Rogue One takes 2 pages, it's hard to see it on the video. You cen see whole index here - LINK.

Now, let me make some math. According to Amazon marvel book wil have 320 pages. Excluding index, some images at the beginning and at the end of the book let's say it's 300-310 pages of content. Plus this page counter is probably just a placeholder, the book itself might be thicker.
Let's assume it includes only marvel Studios productions phases 1-5. It means 51 productions (movies and D+ shows) what gives us about 6 or more pages for one production.
I don't think that every movie or D+ show deserves 6 pages. In my opinion 2 pages are enough for a D+ show and 4-5 pages for some movie but definetly not for each of them.

36 movies * 5 + 15 D+ shows * 2 = 210 pages. That gives us about 100 pages of Loeb's shows.

There is still hope.

With 12 Loeb/Marvel shows (including Helstrom) I would think that would equate the 100 other pages.

The German version of the Timelines book has English preview pages:

Amazon product ASIN 3831046026
The Guardians one seem unfinished, but the Captain America one seems to give a good impression of what we can expect.
Seems it will include the month/year dates of the events, that will make things a lot more easy (looks like it will be updated by Phase Four projects at least but I'm hoping also for some Phase Five like Quantumania, GotG Vol. 3 or Secret Invasion). No clue of Marvel Television shows yet.

Link if somebody doesn't see it.

So First Avenger takes only 6 pages and BOTH GotG take only 8 pages. It's even less than I expected.

This is a largely spoiler free video with only some minor plot point briefly mentioned to give context to the timeline. Movie appears to be vauge as to when it happens but Geekritique I think give us the best placement for the films season and year. As Late spring/early summer is the area for the film I'd myself say May 2026 seems like the best placement since that's when the film released but that's just me

I just watched it too, haven't seen the movie yet because it's not out until May 5 but as stated in His video that it's very summer like in the movie and there is a specific trailer Called "Memories" or something along those lines it states that Summer Begins with GotG Vol 3 (of course I know it's a part of the marketing and not the movie itself but I'm going with a late May or Early June 2026 placement until we can narrow it down further

Having just seen the movie, there isn't anything specific.
At the end of the movie, Peter reunites with his grandfather and I don't think the weather looked very summer like. The end credit scene shows Peter's grandpa reading a paper, but I couldn't make out any dates. Given how standalone the movie is, this is one where I think the best bet would be to see where Disney + places it. Since the movie itself is so vague.

The newspaper has an article of Kevin Bacon talking about his alien abduction, so I feel it should be somewhat close to the Holiday Special.

I was leaning towards earlier in the year as the weather to me seemed more late Winter/early Spring like around March.
After seeing the film I have to agree with this, it looks far more Early Spring at least than Summer

If the rumors are true this movie is going to back staaaaacked. I'm definitely looking forward to this film
Good. I like Cap movies to be full of secondary and tertiary characters. Cap always felt more tied to the overall ongoings of the MCU anyway. He is technically the first avenger, winter soldier took down shield, the civil war was basically Avengers 2.5. Cap 4 being stacked is mucho bien to me.

Agreed. Hopefully when the 4K stream/disc comes around we can getting a better pic of that paper and pray there is a usable date on it. but for now, I agree with you and Starvel. Spring 2026 sounds about right.

How old do you guys think Rocket is? I'm seeing from a couple different places that Rocket is about 4 in the first Guardians movie. Which would put his scenes in 2010? What do you all think?

Honestly it's really hard to say. Raccoon's don't live that long so the High Evolutionary clearly changed that and without any time frame for how long he's been on the run there's no way to say definitively. Did they provide evidence for why they said 4?
