Wouldn't expect anything less from him lol. It'llGunn confirmed that the 'switcharoo' of continuities will 100% be acknowledged and expanded upon in season two.
be interesting to see how it plays out.

I hope he gives it an easy-to-understand explanation. Keaton's way of saying how everything got switched around in The Flash movie wasn't clear enough...IMO.Wouldn't expect anything less from him lol. It'll

Most of them feel like they're right up Gunn's wheelhouse so it makes sense. It's kinda funny how the only(?) DCEU stuff that is mostly intact in the DCU is stuff that was prominent in the original comics' Earth-4; aka the "Charlton"/DC Earth.

agreed, this is the best thing i think we can ask for other than yet another clean slate reboot and im optimistic for the futureLast thing I'll say about that is that I hope people give Gunn's DCU a chance.
He's really passionate about these characters and the universe. He, IMO, was probably the best option they could have picked on such short notice for a fresh take on the DC Universe. After the last remaining DCEU films bombing (2 of which - WW84 and TSS - being Pandemic related however), a mostly clean slate should give DC another chance in the minds of the mainstream audience.
That's my hope for it. Whether you're a fan or not the DCEU became tainted towards the end and a fresh start was the best course of action to get audiences back. I couldn't think of anyone better than Gunn to head it and have complete trust he can right the ship.Last thing I'll say about that is that I hope people give Gunn's DCU a chance.

Honestly, I have hope that he can pull off giving fans an actual cinematic DC Universe. After all, he gave us the amazing Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker both rocked and, well, I just feel like I can trust the guy.Last thing I'll say about that is that I hope people give Gunn's DCU a chance.

King Nereus being Mera's step-father also gives nuance to their strained father/daughter relationship. Her "father" in Aquaman is her ex-husband in the comics, so I personally see him as an adoptive father because that makes more sense. Still a bit weird, but obviously they've never had a thing in the DCEU and it's a father/daughter relationship, but my point was that her real parents from the comics died in the war, not this guy.

More proof it seems of Aquaman 2 being the last DCEU film. I wonder if they will mention Mr Mind lol.
James Gunn said some stuff from Blue Beetle won't be canonical in the DCU. So I put it before Flash tentatively. How did we figure out Blue Beetle is set before The Flash?

I'm saying they might base it loosely off that but take more influence from the DC Universe instead of Image's Wildstorm universe.https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Angela_Spica_(Wildstorm_Universe)Probably more likely to do with this, since we have the Authority involved.
Off topic but do you see Image in the same close "Mega-verse" space as DC and Marvel?Huh, yeah. That makes a lot of sense to me.

and Dynamite's The Boys is Earth-69*; sharing the same universe as DC/Vertigo's Preacher in the DC Multiverse, I guess.Yep. Invincible had a direct crossover with Marvel and ther was a Batman cameo. The main Dynamite universe is technically Earth-818793 of the Marvel Multiverse because of Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness, too.
Army of Darkness, Vampirella, Re-Animator, Red Sonja, Sherlock Holmes, Allan Quatermain, The Green Hornet, Top Cow's Lara Croft, Witchblade, The Darkness, and The Magdalena, Devil's Due's Hack/Slash, Various Public Domain Golden Age Super Heroes, and variants of Horror slashers (Freddy, Jason, Chucky, Victor Crowley) exist in that reality, although the Marvel Appendix only notes the Evil Dead Trilogy.
Also, Howard the Duck might not even be Howard the Duck, not that Marvel would admit it.
