awwww, Marvel Straxus got into the Japanese Cartoon Continuity, that's cute...



tbh even tho Transformers doesn't have a main universe, I always tought that 3 could be that spot the IDW Hasbro Universe (But it ended so rip.), The Alligned Continuity (But it isn't relevant as before), and ofc the Japanese G1 Cartoon, and tbh with you guys, thanks to all the multiversal crossovers that are in this continuity (yeah Straxus is only one of them, even Slipstream from Animated got here) I think they should make JG1 as the main canon.

EDIT: Since Megatron time travels to the universe that existed before the actual one, in an hypotetical Simplified order we can place the stories after the war on Earth.

And little note, since Megatron appears in the 1st universe, he's technically the 1st Cybertronian, even tho he is an assembled one and not a pure one.

I have to give credits to Commander Radix, watching his early multiverse videos made me realize (and I thimk Mr. @Pro Bot will have his mind blown out) that how well The Fallen's defeat shown in the Films tie-in comics and how he's entrapped in another dimension, is linked so well with The Dark Age miniseries from Dreamwave Productions where The Fallen escapes his "exiles".

This makes me think that Furman really had a plan to make for a very unique multiverse, until the Alligned Continuity arrived and (expecially Rise of the Dark Spark) ****** everything over, it's a bit sad tbh.

P.S. You can see how this multiverse is so convuluted that it needs a lot of reboot and behind the scenes thinking to pull this thread off.
 
this could also mean that the universe before the main universe from JG1 continuity is the original universe that was until the Primes made the multiverse?
 
I may do a 2.0 version of this thread in the future, but this is not the reason I'm texting here.

The reason is, let's try to build a simplified order!

To do that we have to know which continuities is set every pieces of media, it's importanto to note that we now know that Ask Vector Prime isn't 100% right every time, so we have to do things ourselves. And having seen what Mr. Pro Bot did with his Trasformers Cinematic Universe thread I decided to do the same with every continuity. But please take note that what I'm doing is creating a Continuity GROUP, not timeline, so for being simple, it's the main continuity + its branches; and 2nd, this are just ideas I've got, cos I have to see if they can actually fit with eachothers, so having said all of that, let's list every continuity group:

This post will focus on the G1 Continuity family.

2 rules before we begin:

1) Thanks to the nature of the brand, I'm going to ignore any childish/Children book related storyline.

2) When dealing with a crossover, I'll add another brand set in the same universe only if the Transformers side has a mjor part in that universe (Ex. the Ghostbusters crossover won't have all the other Ghostbuster media added cos elements related to Transformers only appears in that miniseries)

NOTES
Primax 984.0 Gamma -This Universe is a combination on all the Marvel Titles + their continuations and Last Bot Standing.... How does all of that fit? And why the G.I. Joe's Lama run is here? To explainthat weneed to have a solid base with this continuity, on what it's ALWAYS canon:

for sure The Transformers US tiles are, and with Skybound's compendiums we know that The Transformers UK tiles are the true way Bumblebee becomes Goldbug, this means that the G.I. Joe and the Transformers miniseries has to be set in the G.I. Joe's Lama Universe, which if we follow rule #1, we shouldn't include those titles, so the Lama universe is the Generation 2 Universe as the story starts in the pages of G.I. Joe's run, making G.I. Joe and the Transformers, Generation 2 and Alignment (tho I think it could be canon to Beast Wars?) as a branched timeline from the main universe, tho the Action Comics continuity is part of our always canon base thanks to a crossover with the UK stories; and completing our titles we have Transformers '84, which is a prequel and has strong ties with both US and UK stories, making it part of our ALWAYS CANON base.
Now we're left with 3 stories, next up is the Classicverse, it has a crossover with Shattered Glass and then gets destroyed, tho I think that with the events of the shroud the universe could have been recreated and the events from the Classicverse may have never occured, basically retconning itself from the timeline.
This leave us with Regeneration One as our only true continuation, and Last Bot Standing fits with the end of that run having a very old Hot Road walking around the cosmos dying at the end.


Primax 984.17 Alpha - This universe is the one I hope the most that works out, it's done by combining the USA Cartoon Continuity, Japanese Cartoon Continuity, Dreamwave Comics Continuity, Call of the Future and Devastation video games, Wings Universe, Bumblebee Graphic Novels, Mars Attacks, Mazinga Z crossover and King Grimlock. The reasons to have all of this together is for their ties with the cartoon, and also I'm not considering the Robot in Disguise cartoon, a continuity family of its own, I always thought that to be stupid.

This continuity has at least 2 branched timelines, thanks to the 2 Deviations issues.


Primax 496.22 Alpha - This Continuity is made out of the US and Japanese media, and the comics and prose that is part of it, it has 1 branched timeline with Uprising.
The reason I decided to separate the continuity is becouse it has references to events that comes out from both the 2 previous continuities we talked about.
The only piece of media I'm not sure is the 2021 Beast Wars comics series, maybe it will become a micro continuity.


Primax 1005.19 Gamma - The Continuity is very similar at the normal Hasbroverse, only thing I included is the Conspiracy comic, which if I can fit into canon will bring X-Files into the continuity as well.


Primax 816.02 Alpha - This continuity is very interesting is a combination of the Prima Wars Trilogy, 2019 IDW Continuity and the War for Cybertron Trilogy, the linking comes from the designs and the animation studios.


Primax 623.14 Gamma - It's basically the normal Energon Universe, I just added the Roleplaying game which is a shared Universe with G.I. Joe and Power Rangers


Micro Continuities - they are all different crossovers, set in their crossover's universe.

Only thing I tried to do is having all the G.I. Joe crossovers in a single timeline.


And now it's over for part 1, for part 2 I'll continue with the Unicron Trilogy Continuity Family and we'll see when we'll finish!
