Regarding Netflix shows: I would propose at least adjustment of Defenders to pre-Civil War and swap of order between JJ S3 and Punisher S2 to match Wikia/D+ timeline order.

For exactly same reason as @Rman -> Marvel Studios decided to use Wikia as official order/sequence, which is now "written in stone" by them and they will use it to make future projects.

As Iron Fist S1 was already moved last year (after D+/marvel.com timeline) on this forum's timeline from July to February 2016. (so halfway done)

yea ive been watching thru the defenders shows this month leading up to born again, so far for dds1 i think everything on the wiki is accurate; was there any particular reason why its placed late 2014 here?

as for jjs1 im finishing that up today, i dont see a reason it cant be mid-late feb 2015, though the wiki places it in march

That's a good point. Personally I think post-Civil War works best but as I said above, I'm not incredibly familiar with the Netflix shows and the finer points

in jss1 jessica dreams that her family visits her in her room in episode 8

My issue with their DDS1 placement is the first several episodes of the show have Summer/Fall like weather and look nothing like January. Plus Karen mentions Union Allied benefiting the last 2 years since the Incident which makes it sound like it would be 2014. October/November isn't perfect weather wise, but it does fit with the warmer weather getting cooler towards the end. Plus for the most part the shows usually take place around when they were filmed.

The one thing that kinda worries me with this rule is how exactly it works
The "person possesses their dream self while their real self in deep in the subconscious" is a decent explanation, but
If this rule applies to every universe and not just the MCU, does the dream variant remember what their alternate self did? What happens after certain dreams are concluded and the possessing person wakes up? Do they memorize what the other one did or do they just forget it? What about looping dreams? Do they loop in these specific realities too or are they all just identical variants of one another? How many people possessed their alternate selves unknowingly and got away with it?

I would say after Daredevil starts his crime fighting career, but before the big explosion in Harlem, as that makes the crime rate grow like crazy.

Also even if NIHW assumes it's the Avengers, they CAN'T be:

- Hawkey and Natasha and Bruce Banner works for S.H.I.E.L.D. at this point (the new one ruled by Coulson).
- Steve Rogers is searching for the Winter Soldier, so nope.
- Thor is in semi-retirment with Foster.
- Tony is in semi-retirment with Pepper.

The Avengers got reformed just before the events of Age of Ultron According to AoS Season 2.

So with the only option available to fighting crime being DD.

Fighting crime is a pretty vague term though. There's nothing that specifically says this is referring to Daredevil. It isn't like Matt was the only person in New York fighting crime.

I'm not saying you're wrong and I'm familiar enough with the wiki that I know why they go off it. However, I don't agree it's substantial enough. Especially when very little in the show fits with January 2015.
