Harley Quinn begins in 2021 (in-universe) and as of the season 5 premiere I just watched it is currently in 2024 (one year after season 4).

I always noticed that both Batman and Superman are portrayed as older looking/sounding than they are in Doom so that's why I have it the way I do.

See, I never got that impression. Doom seems to be a sequel for me. It has footage from the previous film in the opening credits implying it already happened. Wonder Woman gets a new invisible jet that she then uses in Doom. I think that Doom was intended to be a follow-up.

You're likely correct in this assumption. I personally don't count opening credit sequences like that because they can be like Superman VS The Elite which includes footage from the DCAU, 1940s serials and the 1960s series.
