Interesting...I've not played the DLC. I always thought they were just retellings of events in the movie.
Well shot, guess I should've played Crew Expendable for sure...Crew Expendable is based on a deleted scene. The other one is an adaptation of Ripley's escape.
Hmmm, a good thought.I wonder if the Nostromo DLCs from Alien: Isolation could be canon. Set the first one after Brett's death but before Dallas in the airlock (I've seen people say it's an alternate timeline, but how? It fits between events as far as I can tell), then the second can fit as concurrent to Ripley's escape... then there's the other DLCs with almost no narrative which are leading up to the start of the game.
It's actually connected to both the first AVP movie and the first Alien. They reference Charles Bishop Weyland and set up the MU-TH-UR A.I.Kinda annoys me how Predator: Concrete Jungle is labelled an "Alternate Continuity" and "What If...?" scenario on TV Tropes, solely for not having any connections to the films. Like no shit there wouldn't be any connections, the game is meant to be a standalone story, after all. By that logic, should the Dark Horse comics be considered non-canon just because most are standalone stories? :/

Charles Bishop Weyland owned Weyland Industries while Peter Weyland owned Weyland Corp. It is likely that Peter Weyland absorbed Weyland Industries' assets in 2012 when he founded Weyland Corp.BTW, am curious, but how do you explain the Weyland Industries/Weyland Corporation issue in the series? @Pro Bot
