I think this Is too much haha.Con-Amalgamate Timeline
1971 - T.R. Baskin
1978 - Capricorn One
2055 - A Sound of Thunder
2??? - Outland
Because of course it is.
So we go for the 2124 date? Okii I'll update my timeline as well to reflect this.I suppose you could place Outland in the 22nd century if you assume that FTL travel is an expensive commodity not to be wasted on blue collar miners within our Solar System. There's not much of a placement for it if you do that though... best guess is 2124 with that interpretation, since Outland released 2 years after Alien.
i tought exactly the same thing.I wonder if the Nostromo DLCs from Alien: Isolation could be canon. Set the first one after Brett's death but before Dallas in the airlock (I've seen people say it's an alternate timeline, but how? It fits between events as far as I can tell), then the second can fit as concurrent to Ripley's escape... then there's the other DLCs with almost no narrative which are leading up to the start of the game.
Well shoot, guess I should've played Crew Expendable for sure...Crew Expendable is based on a deleted scene. The other one is an adaptation of Ripley's escape.
Hmmm, a good thought.I wonder if the Nostromo DLCs from Alien: Isolation could be canon. It's actually connected to both the first AVP movie and the first Alien. They reference Charles Bishop Weyland and set up the MU-TH-UR A.I.Kinda annoys me how Predator: Concrete Jungle is labelled an "Alternate Continuity" and "What If...?" scenario on TV Tropes, solely for not having any connections to the films. Like no **** there wouldn't be any connections, the game is meant to be a standalone story, after all. By that logic, should the Dark Horse comics be considered non-canon just because most are standalone stories? :/

EXACTLY!!It's actually connected to both the first AVP movie and the first Alien. They reference Charles Bishop Weyland and set up the MU-TH-UR A.I.
Charles Bishop Weyland owned Weyland Industries while Peter Weyland owned Weyland Corp. It is likely that Peter Weyland absorbed Weyland Industries' assets in 2012 when he founded Weyland Corp.BTW, am curious, but how do you explain the Weyland Industries/Weyland Corporation issue in the series? @Pro Bot

Peter likely knew of his relative's lung cancer, hence why he developed a synthetic trachea a few days before the start of AVP. Unfortunately, Charles' fixation on the antarctica expedition led to his downfall, just like it would for the younger Weyland in 2093 poetically. Both dying men sought out alien discoveries to either create a lasting legacy or extend their own life. Hm, I don't think it worked out well for Michael Bishop either.
