DC TV Shows (Non-Arrowverse) Timelines

The Three / Kindly Ones / Furies refered to Lyta as their "granddaughter". That is vague, but HUGE.

The pantheon of Greek Gods, not just Zeus, alll hold parentage to the one, Diana Prince.

Lyta even looks like Gal Gadot. So if we are to take Sandman as DCEU-adjacent in anyway, we just don't see superheroes at all cross paths, then technically Sandman works as a last remnant of the DCEU - along with the Peacemaker Presents comics.

@Pro Bot I got a headcanon to share…

Post-Flashpoint, Titans (Earth-9) and Swamp Thing (Earth-19) merged with Earth-1.

Titans already had a deep connection to Swamp Thing in season 4, had a lot of the DCEU aesthetics from the Wayne family symbol of hunters & gatherers to the costumes.
By merging with the DCEU, the JL are formed in the early-2000s, Bruce is born earlier (Batfleck and Iain Glenn 'merge' to become Clooney) and films like Man of Steel are significantly altered with the pre-existence of the League while some films like BvS and JL are completely erased. Among other things. (Steppenwolf still dies as his death occurred outside of the Orrey of Worlds on Apokolips, Darkseid still preparing the 'old ways'.)

And if the DCEU is still Earth-1, then the DCU is Earth-2 - that continuity having merged with Stargirl, Doom Patrol and 'plucked' elements formerly part of Earth-1 like The Suicide Squad.

I thought about it. Both gravestones' "2023" dates seen in Sandman season 2 collapse the timeline if I took them seriously.
The timestamps that show the year, especially if the ones for historical years via flashbacks are to be taken as objective, overrule some crappy gravestones.

Supposedly the upcoming Death bonus episode that will book end the whole Sandman series (and this TV streaming era of DC) will resolve the cliffhanger from Dead Boy Detectives somehow so...it would have to be set at some point after that series.

And if Death says Dream died "days ago"....I'mma be mad as hell.
They briefly considered having Robert Pattinson's Batman at Dream's funeral. That would have been... uh... something. [The Sandman spoilers]

In fairness, pretty comic accurate.

I mean, gravestones are in-universe. I think some on-screen out-of-universe years can be retconned like Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I don't know, I'd have to see the S1 dates in question. I'm personally fine with accepting every on-screen date except present day if there's other evidence... but it also depends on visibility. I also just assumed S2 was supposed to be set after Dead Boy Detectives honestly. You could be right though, I don't know.

No. I think that would have been a bad idea committing to something like that.

Robert Queen's birth year on his gravestone in Arrow, among other gravestone dates, created continuity errors for the Arrowverse btw. For DC, gravestone errors have occurred more often than not.

Step 1: Return to Hell and remerge with his dark half ("Lucifer Rofocale" aka The First of the Fallen)
Step 2: Get all cozy and sweet with the Lords of Hell, while manipulating your dark half into feeling the sympathy you had while on Earth
Step 3: When the time is right, leave your dark half behind as an emotional mess and have them kick everyone out and quit themselves
Step 4: Secretly provide therapy for souls returned to Hell by Death for however long that lasts

I still hold onto this headcanon by the end. Plus Mazikeen being split off from her demon form by Constantine (alluded to in Crisis) means there's one version of her that is stuck in Hell.

There's still the Remiel issue and "the Creator" issue. I guess it's a new Remiel created by God!Amenadiel, since there's nothing that says new angels can't be created. We saw that with Chas in the Constantine film, he took the place of Gabriel for a time.

The Fates...well, The Three in Sandman are the prime versions of The Fates who, as we saw in Legends of Tomorrow, are independent aspects. Maybe they split off from their prime counterparts, and once two lost their immortality and one died then The Three retained the "duties" the Fates once had.

That's super complicated...but DC's god pantheon lore tends to be and there's already enough of it by this point to make this work within the rules given.
