Okay they were 15 in movie 1 so I think Next Mutation starts in 1996My problem with that specifically is that they're stated to be turning 18 soon in Next Mutation and iirc they're stated to be 14 in the first film aren't they? Iirc the original film says how many years it's been since they were mutated
Or 1997 if it's after their 18th birthday but before the 19thOkay they were 15 in movie 1 so I think Next Mutation starts in 1996
So Mighty Force is during Season 1 but before Tommy loses the Green Ranger power and leaves the teamThere's also the Mobile Game Power Rangers Mighty Force, it has characters from all across time being pulled in but the game takes place in the MMPR era, here's my notes on its timeline placement
Mighty Force: takes place in the Summer. Tommy is already Green Ranger, still has shield. The rangers have fought pudgy pig, chunky chicken, Frankenstein and eye guy before but have not fought crabby cabbie. Lord Zedd and Rita's marriage is mentioned to happen in the future. Kimberly doesn't have a driver's license yet.
There might be more evidence in the game later on but I stopped playing because it's boring gameplay-wise although pretty fun character interaction-wise
I'm 100% Sure that the Samurai games are adaptation.Don't Samurai and Megaforce have games with original stories or am I wrong?
I went over that a bit earlier. Basically this reality could include the original 3 films, the 2007 film, the NES game "TMNT 2", the 2007 films prequel comic and smash clone game. And the 3 power rangers comic crossovers. As well as obviously Next Mutation show and it's continuation letters. Not sure if there's anything else set in this reality or not, would be cool if we got a new tie in comic for it eventuallyII suppose the Ninja Turtles movies could hypothetically be added, depending on if you count them as connected to The Next Mutation.
This will make @Pro Bot happy, but according to the Sega Genesis game adaptation of the film, the film is set out after season 2 and doesn't replace season 2, like many people think.
Like wasn't the Movie basically the opening of Season 3 with how they got the powers and everything? So the adaptation game of the movie referencing Season 2 doesn't fix anything because the movie is set after Season 2. It's still in canon Limbo because it's ignored by Season 3 and nothing after that references the movieI thought it replaced Season *3* not 2?
So uh yeah, we're back to square one on that lolLike wasn't the Movie basically the opening of Season 3 with how they got the powers and everything? Here's the SNES game manual's story, it's Rita coming back so definitely not an adaptation/alternate universe I'd say.I think the SNES game can probably be canon, it doesn't seem to be a straight adaptation as the Rangers are already rangers and Rita just sends a bunch of the old monsters out at once, it just seems to be another standard PR adventure. The wiki says it happens during Season 1, Cyclopsis is in the game, which was destroyed in season 1 but it could have been rebuilt for the events of this game I think

Game Boy can be canon too I think. Here's the SNES game manual's story, it's Rita coming back so definitely not an adaptation/alternate universe I'd say.
Honestly the Genesis game could *probably* fit too. Tommy is working for Rita in that one but he seems to be under a spell or something and they snap him out of it, might not contradict anything. Rita's palace gets destroyed at the end but that probably can get rebuilt not a big deal either.
Not sure about the Game Boy or Game Gear games though gotta check those later
Several years usually means a lot of years. If it was just 2 or 3 people would usually just say "a couple of years" but you could probably still say 3ish years is "several" doesn't really matter it's not a hard and fast rule in casual conversation like thatGuys regarding the comics:
"Change" to "New Dawn" Follows the show, as New down is set after 2x29. (1993-1994)
"Aftermath" to "Charge to 100!" Happens in an unprecised time. (199?-199?)
"Mistress Vile" is set 3 years after the Salad Girl flahsback that happened 4 months before 1x01, so 1993+3=1996 (1996)
"Darkest Hour" is set several years after Matt becames the Green Ranger during "The Dark Rangers", which happens in that unspecified timegap, so it could be still 1996, but it has to be after Alien Ranger and before Zeo, so that the rangers can be still in their Mighty Morphin Suits. (199?).
To be honest it could be cool to set everything in the Boom Comics before Zeo, as it was the original intension, Matt training to become a ranger takes at bare minimum 6 months, meaning that MMPR #51 starts a lot later than 2x29, so maybe the comics series could start again After or during Season 3, so in 1995.
The Mistress Vile arc has Rita taking the place of his father, this could be a consequence of his defeat at the end of Alien Rangers, , making the Mistress Vile and Darkest hour happen between MMAR and Zeo, before the arrival of the Machine Empire, so in 1996.
The thing is that in english (so this is asked for the english native speakers) "several years" can be equal to 2 years? Cos if this is true, here's what I've come to mind:
"Change" to "New Dawn" = 1993-1994 (During Season 1-2)
"Aftermath" to "Charge to 100!" = 1994-1995 (During Season 3? Or Between Seasons 2 and 3?)
"Mistress Vile" to "Darkest Hour" = 1996 (After Alien Rangers Miniseries, but Before Season 4)
In any case, Prima is a flashpoint-like thing, that even if it doesn't get solved on-screen, I'll just take in consideration that Billy repaired the grid to mmanipulate event during the Shattered Grid storyline (since it was the starting point for where everything went downhill) to make the events going a little different, having so the events of Battle for the Grid replacing the comic storyline, reparing the timeline, and having everything be set in place for Zeo.
So what would it be for the comics' events after Shattered Grid in this new universe? I think some of them could still happen, like Billy repowering the Green Power Coin with Promethea or working for them, as it fits pretty well with his character in new series; Alsoin the Lost Galaxy graphic novel, Grace appears in a flashback, meaning that the comics's events (not every one of them), must have happened.
The new Mighty Morphin Series can be set in the prime timeline in 2005. (yeah 3 of the original PR left in 1994, but it's still nearly 10 years after they disbanded, and also nothing happened in 2005, since the season released in that year was SPD).
Let me know what you all think about this!
they said that they took the dark side of him (also he returns in Dino Super Charge's Halloween Special), I tought that the Dark side of him is Legends' Zed since he's weaker (mentally), infact he was under the Big Bads' control then he rebelled, escaped and one-shotted them. How does Power Rangers Legends work in canon? Lord Zedd went back to being evil and then at the end of the game gets trapped in-between time for a million years. Does this contradict Cosmic Fury and stuff? I'm not sure if they ever discuss his good human self there
Wasn't Legends Zedd the good side? They show a cutscene of him as a human and the crystal turned him into evil Zedd.they said that they took the dark side of him (also he returns in Dino Super Charge's Halloween Special), I tought that the Dark side of him is Legends' Zed since he's weaker (mentally), infact he was under the Big Bads' control then he rebelled, escaped and one-shotted them.
I didn't see the season, but from what I learned, it could fit.
EDIT: It's Dino Fury, sorry I got confused... too many Dino seasons, lol.
It's also specifically set in the Power Rangers 2017 movie universe because Legacy Wars is basically a sequel to the 2017 film but with other Ranger characters being pulled in through the MultiverseAlso btw. Power Rangers Legacy Wars Street Fighter crossover shouldn't be paired with Battle for the Grid, Legacy Wars is it's own story and Tommy is an adult in the crossover movie so it's probably set in the year it came out (2017)
I don't remember this... Anyways the good side became the evil again anyways.Wasn't Legends Zedd the good side? They show a cutscene of him as a human and the crystal turned him into evil Zedd.
Ryu and Chun-Li aracade Storylines are set after the short. Also btw. Power Rangers Legacy Wars Street Fighter crossover shouldn't be paired with Battle for the Grid, Legacy Wars is it's own story and Tommy is an adult in the crossover movie so it's probably set in the year it came out (2017)
I don't have Legacy Wars in the timeline, Just the short, also it doesn't have a plot. Only a tutorial and then just PVP or am I wrong? It's also specifically set in the Power Rangers 2017 movie universe because Legacy Wars is basically a sequel to the 2017 film but with other Ranger characters being pulled in through the Multiverse
