I guess an even more simple answer would be Winslow Scott Jr. Different Toyman, same name. The Arrowverse and DC Animated Universe both did this, but they never had both main versions be an evil version of Toyman... I think. Not really a canon answer though.

I think that's the only issue. It's funny to think that Batman could capture Doomsday from that movie though, XD. He's just THAT good.
