Idk, that's just how the Comic Con official timeline had it, they're all prequels to the OG filmsWhile I think personally, the new films are supposed to be full-reboots, I don't actually agree that they contradict the first two films at all. The historical bible is clearly supposed to be inaccurate. I think that the time distance allows them to fit in with the originals perfectly fine.
How does the Tim Burton movie fit in with the reboots, though?
I'd just adapt this list, honestly.
2016 - Rise of the Planet of the Apes
2026 - Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
2028 - War for the Planet of the Apes
2328 - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
2975 - Planet of the Apes (1968)
2975 - Beneath the Planet of the Apes
1973 - Escape from the Planet of the Apes
1991 - Conquest of the Planet of the Apes
2001 - Battle for the Planet of the Apes
2029 - Planet of the Apes (2001)
3085 - Planet of the Apes 1x01-1x14
3979 - Return to the Planet of the Apes 1x01-1x13
Alternatively:
Timeline 1
2016 - Rise of the Planet of the Apes
2026 - Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
2028 - War for the Planet of the Apes
2328 - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
2975 - Planet of the Apes (1968) [Alt.]
2976 - Beneath the Planet of the Apes [Alt.]
Timeline 2
2975 - Planet of the Apes (1968)
2975 - Beneath the Planet of the Apes
Timeline 3
1973 - Escape from the Planet of the Apes
1991 - Conquest of the Planet of the Apes
2001 - Battle for the Planet of the Apes
3085 - Planet of the Apes 1x01-1x14
2975 - Planet of the Apes (1968) [Alt.]
2976 - Beneath the Planet of the Apes [Alt.]
Most of the comics fit here, I guess.
Timeline 4
2029 - Planet of the Apes (2001)
Timeline 5
2029 - Planet of the Apes (2001) (ending)
Timeline 6
3979 - Return to the Planet of the Apes 1x01-1x13
That with more timelines or less could work.
Unfortunately this is the best photo I can find of the 2024 timelineIirc, the Comic Con timeline said the ending of 2001 took place in an alternative universe and isn't a branch of the timeline or something
The orange text indicates the altered future from Escape onwardsUnfortunately this is the best photo I can find of the 2024 timeline
The RPG also mentions that when people time travel to past they create a new timelineThe orange text indicates the altered future from Escape onwards
This isn't the same one this removed the reboot ones for some reason
They are correct. 3955 is the year for both films, that's what Beneath retconned the year to beAnd the dates for when the first movie and Beneath aren't even correct
They say it's 3955 in all the other moviesThe RPG said that that's when the clock on the ship stopped working, so they think it's 3955 but it's actually 3979
The comics show the date as 3955 in boxes that are supposed to be definitive but I guess I'll ignore all of those thenBecause they are wrong, theres a short paragraph in the RPG that explains this
PrequelsWill the reboot movies have their own timeline or will they be prequels in your timeline?
PrequelWhat about the Tim Burton movie?
I'm probably not posting it hereDo you know when you will be posting the timeline?
Nah. I don't usually like post my timelines much anywhere. This would also probably take years to finish since POTA has a lot of contentOn a blog or something?
The added text in the Comic Con timeline appears to be based on a ScreenRant article from 2019: https://web.archive.org/web/2019091...ant.com/planet-apes-movie-timeline-explained/You can see on the one I posted it has more text than the one you posted

Maybe they were already in spaceThis timeline doesn't make any sense when taken into account that society collapses in the 2010s in the reboot movies while the space mission with Leo Davidson launches in 2029
I just checked in case you could be right... he has a live call from Earth. There's lots of people acting happy towards him, getting married and wondering when he'll return home. If it were up to me, I'd rather say that it's in the 3-5 timeline... if we're putting it anywhere, that is.Maybe they were already in space
