    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

In Catwoman, is this prop visible in the film itself?

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

So yesterday I watched Catwoman for the first time. You know what? It wasn't nearly as terrible as I expected it to be. It's a perfectly serviceable comic book flick from the early 2000s. Not sure what people expected out of a Catwoman movie not featuring Selina Kyle. Honestly, it's miles better...

    Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

In the Human Target TV series from 2010, are there any references to Batman, Superman or other DC characters?

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

You're likely correct in this assumption. I personally don't count opening credit sequences like that because they can be like Superman VS The Elite which includes footage from the DCAU, 1940s serials and the 1960s series.

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

I always noticed that both Batman and Superman are portrayed as older looking/sounding than they are in Doom so that's why I have it the way I do.

Sure, anyone can do whatever they want - it's all fiction!

Yep. Clark and Lois appear. My notes on this: "The diner Basil Karlo frequents has patrons that strongly resemble characters from "Superman II" (1980). One of which is clearly supposed to be Clark Kent (Christopher Reeves). Another is Lois Lane (Margot Kidder). Judging by how cowardly both...

I have not watched the films yet (still collecting them on disc), but I'm leaning on NO.

I started a personal Mad Max timeline. Has anyone attempted this before? I'd like to see what everyone came up with.

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

Yep, since it's all fiction, we can really pretend whatever we want. So if we want to assume the Year One movie is in some alternate 1950s with color TVs, 90s tech and modern clothing, we can!

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

Personally, I consider the following DC animated movies to be a universe: - Justice League: The New Frontier (1953 - 1960s) - Batman: Soul Of The Dragon (1970s) - Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (1983) Bruce's age actually matches up with this and it works. I also count the Superman animated...

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

Not trying to argue but... 1. I don't think Stanley aged AT ALL in 30 years. 2. "the old days" could refer to any time period relative to when it's stated. So in the 1980s, the 1950s were "the old days". 3. This doesn't mean they are automatically in the same universe. I know you know that...

IF you ignore the modern vehicles and clothing style.

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

Yea in fact a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria can be seen in Gotham City, placing the film in 1998 at the earliest.

DC Animated Universe - Timeline (v2.0)

FYI The animated Batman Year One is set in modern times, wheras TDKR is set firmly in the 1980s.

I didn't realize there were other DC films from their Imprint lines, like Wildstorm and Vertigo. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_based_on_DC_Comics_publications

DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Not the most reliable source though right? How do they know this? It's not like the film makes this clear. Seems like speculation.

DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Blue Beetle being in 2023 is much better IMO. It serves as a better finale to the DCEU than Aquaman 2 in my humble opinion.
