7th Doctor - 12 stories/DVDs
8th Doctor - 1 movie

You're looking at 149 (eventually 160) DVDs individually for Classic Who (pre-9th era).

Some stuff like Marco Polo or The Myth Makers haven't been "remastered" yet so that's still a blank spot (probably the original episode is lost to time.)

But BBC seems to want to fill in those blanks eventually.

In fairness, the entirety of Marco Polo and The Myth Makers are completely lost outside of audio recordings. It's only natural that they'd settle for animating the missing episodes to be released, IE: Power of the Daleks and The Celestial Toymaker

I've actually been trying to collect those Blu-Ray sets as well. Hoping they'll get round to releasing one for the Second Doctor, since he's the only one lacking one.

TBH I dont agree with BBC allowing Torchwood to go out of print cause of behind the scenes controversies with Barrowman. The Flash didn’t get banned in the UK over Ezra’s actions, right?

I hate when media companies let the circulation of works lapse because of serious allegations.

Neil Gaiman's allegations are horrifying but I will give him his day in court. I remember New Zealand director Richard Stanley had similar allegations thrown at him which ruined his career, then he went to court and disproved the claims. Now his films are in circulation again, including the well-known sci-fi film Hardware.

Whether they are guilty or not, that shouldn't allow their media to become lost forever. Unless it is illegal, media shouldnt become lost in the 21st Century.
