Maybe it's just me....but has anyone else noticed the totally random 80s cartoons that Cartoon Network is playing late at night?

I few weeks ago I caught them playing Gary Coleman's old cartoon...and just the other morning I woke up to find Chuck Norris's Karate Kommandos playing.

What's next? Rubik The Magic Cube?

Oh yeah...they DID make that back in the day.

Or maybe the Punky Brewster cartoon (found on the extras disc of the Punky Brewster live action show DVD).

Don't ask why or how I remember all this stuff............I just do.

Oh yeah...I remember Automan too.

Yes! Saved By The Bell starts tonight! Last night they began calling themselves [crappy 1980s live action tv show network] instead of [adult swim].

Yeah I noticed that too. I used to wath this show all the time, well not the college years, or SBTB: The New Class, that one sucked even Screech couldn't save it.

I wonder if they are gonna start the series at the very beggining or at mid high-school (aka the best episodes).

It doesn't matter because I am THE KING of random Saved by the Bell trivia. It also doesn't hurt that I've seen every episode.

As long as AS doesn't star showing "California Dreams" I think they'll be ok.

Admit it.....I'm the geekiest badass you know... 8)

Television was obviously perfected in the 80s and since then, has just been on a slow decline.

True.

I mean did we need anything else other than "Bionic Six" and "Kidd Video"???

I submit that we did not.

You know Mr. Belding actually visited my college, cool guy. You know after a while you kinda forget shows like Saved by the Bell but then you remember it and its all good. FYI Mr Belding said he will be appearing in a family guy episode.

I personally don't mind, VVD, but could you please not post a link to a site that has porn right on the side?

Did it??? Seriously guy....my bad. I was paying so much attention to Chuck Norris's animated moustache that I didn't even look over the rest of the page.

Bionic, Bionic Six! Ooo-oo!

Plus, this "family, bonded together by science that gives them superpowers" was totally ****ed up.

Because the all-white family had a Japanese and African kid in it.

I don't think they were a family so much as a 'potential demographic'.

Bionic, Bionic Six! Ooo-oo!

I think you're all forgetting the awesomeness that was the wrestling cartoons

Watching Hulk and Giant defeat the vil wrestlers and still sve the city, then having Captain Lou tell me the moral for the day

I miss that

S'okay, I can try to find it on YouTube if you want.

As long as we are putting stuff on the wish list, how about some G.I. Joe, or those super mario brothers cartoons (the ones with captain lou dancing at the end and sometimes had Link episodes). Those were some good ones.

It's quite obvious their love involved using "advanced science" to give the ethnic minorities stereotypical superpowers. Man, science is grand.
