Alan Moore vs Hollywood - who is right?

The fascist thing is the same thing as the Western; the idea that when there's trouble, a great hero will come down, solve the troubles and then leave. Fascist dictators use this story to get into power, but never leave. That's all that is.

Its kinda of a ridiculous comparison.

One saying outlandish fictional characters subscribe to a particular political ideology, is inherently silly. One can argue the Smurfs are communists, but is that any more serious then saying heroies are fascists?

Two, comic books themselves have dealt with that issue all the time, often a key difference between a hero and a villain is a hero only enforces the rules of society, while a villain wishes to be the one who makes the rules. So really they have dealt with this in the comics themselves.
