On Wiki, it says that in the Ultimate universe, May is the sister of Mary Parker, Peter Parker's mother (in mainstream Marvel, May is unrelated to Mary and May's husband Ben is Richard Parker's brother). However, if this is true, then that means Ultimate May married her brother-in-law....either that, or Ultimate Ben and Ultimate Richard just coincidentally have the same last name.

And that's just summary. You should read it, that is if you aren't too embarrassed by the Lolita-esque covers to pick them up. You can probably find the issues in the quarter bins. It was never collected in TPB.

Oh, I thought people were having a problem with it because it feels kinda weird.

Like almost-incest.

As in "Girl, you married your sister's husband's brother! That's just weird!"

But I don't see it as very complicated.

The short way of saying it is that, May and Mary went all double trouble and went for brothers.

It's no different than say, you and a chum going for two hot sisters. Only your chum is your brother.

I do find it weird but the line in the one thread about it resonating with people who had similar experience make me think its okay. But the whol, she was dating one guy than got pregnant by his brother that her sister was dating than had the brother and sister raise the baby while lying to the guy you were dating, its just too much and I think unwarranted.

So Ultimate Aunt May doesn't have her maiden name? That's kinda dumb.

Will she have a bunch of crazy things happen her like 616 May? Off the top of my head, 616 May had an gangster ex-boyfriend show up, was once put in a nursing home secretly run by Mysterio, almost married Doc Ock, etc. But she still had a maiden name!

In the first issue, his last name was hinted to be Harlan, and in issue #15, his mother called him Clifford, while in Ultimate Marvel Team-Up around the same time, in a story also written by Brian Michael Bendis, a teacher calls him Kenny. As a result of this information, in the "Official Handbook of the Ultimate Marvel Universe", he was referred to as "Kong Harlan, aka Clifford Kenneth Harlan." However in issue Ultimate Spider-Man #82, his name was finally revealed to be Kenny McFarlane. He now refers to himself as Kenny McFarlane, and in an interview with Bendis, it is confirmed that this is his real name.

Yes, Ultimate Spider-Man is full of name changes. Flash Thompson, real name Eugene Thompson in 616, is "Fred" Thompson in the Ultimate universe. And Richard Parker is called "Ray" in the Ultimate universe.
