Batman/Superman Anthology Timelines

I thought Birds of Prey and Lois and Clark were supposed to be the same earth though
Not at all. That was just Mr. Selfishmisery's theory. It's not a bad one either, since Birds of Prey and Lois & Clark both use Burtonverse designs.

I would argue Lois & Clark is closer to the Burtonverse in regards to creator intent though. I guess we can't know for sure, but I would say so.

Where would the Burtonverse's Gotham and Metropolis be related to each other geography wise?

When you're watching Batman and Batman Returns, it's basically Schrödinger's Superman. Is it Dean Cain (Earth-89)? Is it Christopher Reeve/Brandon Routh (Earth-96)? Is it a dead baby version of Henry Cavill (Earth-1/Flashpoint)? Is it Nicolas Cage? You won't know until you decide which sequel you prefer, lol.

And when your watching Batman 89 or Returns you don't know if your looking at Earth 89 or 96 also

Reminds me of Halloween timelines. The 2018 timeline is completely different to both the 4-6 timeline and the H20 timeline despite the on-screen footage of the original film occurring identically. Schrödinger's Laurie Strode. Is she Michael's sister or not?

I could see Laurie still being Michael's sister in the H40 timeline but that's never publicly revealed but it still floats around as a rumor

In your personal opinion when you watch 89 and Returns what universe do you see?
It would depend on which sequel I'm watching. I can't really say more than that, it's the only defining element that matters. I guess Earth-89 is typically considered the Batman film universe while Earth-96 is considered the Superman film universe, so we'll say Earth-89.

Man, looking at the timeline is almost as if the 1989 Batman franchise never left
When you take in this many connections, it will feel like that. Also, in a way, it hasn't. Not until Batman: Revolution and Batman '89: Echoes #6 release. After that is anyone's guess. Superman '78/Batman '89 crossover still needs to happen as far as I'm concerned.

Why aren't the Diet Coke commercials also set on Earth 96 and vice versa with Resurrection?

1. In Batman '89, Bruce hasn't seen Selina since Batman Returns. In the commercial, Selina... uh... throws a can of diet coke towards Batman... so they definitely met there...

2. Drake Winston appears in Batman: Resurrection. He's exclusive to the '89 comics timeline.
