It was the best thing about my childhood, except for the sex.

I'm going to buy it on DVD.

You know whats pretty cool, on the extras on the dvd the writers said they didnt really have a plan at the begining and that they didnt know that much about transformers. Yet they made such a great story and were able to tie things from the first episode and make it work. Like the stone Hedge thing in the second episode, one of the tech guys had that design and just threw it in there, and when they started they werent sure whether or not to make it prehistoric Earth or not, so they put a second moon and if they wanted to change it they'll just blow it up, which become one of their biggest storylines. The chances of tyhat working out so perfectly.

Beast Wars was possibly the best Transformers series. I also find transforming into animals to be more practical and useful than transforming into other machines.

Dinobot ruled major ***.
