Well, yeah. Peacemaker S1 isn't canon, Peacemaker S2's recap is canon. It's allowed to pretend that the DCEU didn't happen because it's no longer in the DCEU.

I'm fine with it. The DCU and the DCEU should remain separate as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I don't think we need a crossover. It'd be funny if Peacemaker met himself and they realised they shared an almost identical history despite coming from hugely distinct worlds, though.

I say that but we don't really have a lot of on-screen substance regarding what the DCU's Peacemaker is, so maybe in a few years we'll learn he's actually quite different from our DCEU version. Doesn't look like it, though.
