DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

I'm counting them for myself because I know what he's like and I honestly don't trust his definition of canon. Marvel TV shows aren't canon, I Am Groot isn't canon, the canon MCU comics aren't canon, but a freaking unfinished deleted scene for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is canon. Yeah, right.
nathan fillion's simon williams did a tropic thunder for his new tv show

are we going to at least count krypto saves the day as an elseworlds title or just ignore it completely?
Elseworlds I'd say (that's just me though - if it was more impactful I'd probably disregard Gunn's statement, but it's literally 4 short Tom & Jerry antics made to look like the DCU (I haven't seen them yet, that is a joke - Reddit's made me paranoid about literally any joke I make now)

it may be me, but the "couple of years" that Gunn dictated, it doesn't work. It all seems too recent to me. Harcourt has not worked for two years but the arrears are a few months. Economos and Vij have been talking every night since the former was reassigned to Belle Reve... So for a good 2 and a half years? It feel strange to me. Chris has never opened the door since he has been living there? They are mainly sensations, but I think James Gunn wrote it without thinking about a big time gap
