Well, apparently I'm making a thread for this, so I guess it's official: I'm attempting to document the only timeline that could rival the likes of Earth-616 and Prime Earth. I've mainly been putting this off, since Disney have been very open to the idea that official media based off their works should be considered canon, so there's an endless supply of random children's stories that are technically part of all this and would make it hell to try and produce. Though, this thread is more going to be stitched together than necessarily having everything in the parent message, so it should be somewhat more manageable.

One thing I cannot stress enough is that NONE OF THIS IS CONFIRMED. I am not saying this is the only valid interpretation of Disney media, and I'm probably going to be doing a lot of BSing to get things to work, so please do not get angry that I'm making a Pixar Theory clone, this is all just for fun.

What else I cannot stress enough for this is the ✨r u l e s✨. If I had a nickel for every time a YouTuber proposed a Disney animated shared universe, where they only included the movies made by Walt Disney Animation Studios (not one of the branches) and ignored any sequels/spinoffs unless they were relevant for the timeline or... the Wreck-It Ralph sequel, for some reason, though didn't include Mickey Mouse or Winnie the Pooh media, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice. I am considering anything made by Walt Disney Animation Studios, or one of it's branches, to be canon here, as long as I can find a way to connect it. However, if the media explicitly connects to something that does not fit this criteria, I won't be including it (some edge-cases may apply). Oh, and I won't be including any of that WWII slop that was produced due to a shortage of artists and writers, I hope I don't have to explain why half-finished animations layered over random live action media isn't going to be canon. I will not be including media that crosses over with any Disney media, no matter how explicit the crossover may be. This is a Disney timeline, not a Disney-and-the-countless-other-things-Disney-referenced timeline (sorry, no Asterix & Obelisk). This rule may be revoked if the vast majority of people working on this decide it to be revoked, or if a crossover is too big to ignore, though I would prefer to keep this as just Disney-related media.

Another thing I want to do in the parent message, is establish a Mickey Mouse timeline. Since Mickey Mouse operates on a floating timeline, and has a very soft canon, making this without first establishing a Mickey Mouse timeline would be frivolous. Steamboat Silly implies that the Mickey in The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is not the same Mickey as other Mickeys, though at the same time is ambiguous as to whether they are a shared universe or not, so obviously I'm assuming the latter, though I'd rather this didn't become another Universal Monsters so I'll only have explicitly different Mickeys if absolutely necessary. This means I will not be addressing the floating timeline, and you can guess when a new Mickey era starts/stops - however it should be noted that The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is it's own thing.

This section is dedicated to links to posts in this thread that detail the timelining done that is necessary for understanding this project.

[Come back later]

Finally, I would like to include a rough timeline - for people viewing this in the future I likely won't change this until I have enough space to do so, so expect some errors or gaps. This is just movies done by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and movies that spin off from said movies, and the Fantasia segments I can easily place.

I can agree with this, though I would prefer if the crossover media in question was still included depending on how and what it is. Like, if it's an explicit sequel... then, yeah. Just me though. It's your list.

If it's an official sequel or something, I don't see why not. Especially if it's not even a specific version of the non-Disney property.

Sorry, I meant including the media that goes with said crossover, if there's an officially licensed crossover either in Disney media or with no explicit "major" media which is being crossed into, I'll include the crossover itself, but I probably won't include the media that goes with it, mostly because this is going to be chaotic enough as is

Will you also add the still missing movies to the rough timeline?
Which movies? Other than Zootropolis and Chicken Little, if I can find good places for them that aren't just "yeah so in the future animals actually took over" I'll add them to it, but idk if I'll add much other stuff to it until the character limit gets fixed, since I don't wanna start adding a certain type of media only to not be able to include it all, so I wanna stay on the safe side. It's more for the Walt Disney Animations side of this timeline

Was thinking of those and Wish I believe

I think someone has to ask, but doesn't Lumière appear in the Timon and Pumbaa TV Series? I'm guessing you placed it there due to Hercules? Still, thought I'd bring it up
The Timon and Pumbaa series is… questionable. It feels like the same characters, but at the same time they feel completely different, idk how to explain it. Ancestors, ig

Oh, uhhh… Brave is canon to Sofia the First, apparently. The same show that's holding this timeline together by its teeth by the way 😅 Should I include all of Pixar or just Brave?

Also, Disney made the Planes movies, not Pixar, so technically this should include Cars, too…

As of right now, I just wanna get down the Mickey Mouse/Ducktales side of this, as well as the non-movie spin-offs of what's already on this timeline
bad news about that.... apparently the Disney comics and cartoons are set in the same universe, look at Donald Duck expanded biography from the wiki:

https://scrooge-mcduck.fandom.com/wiki/Biography_of_Donald_Duck

Also according to their timeline Epic Mickey takes place in 2010:

https://scrooge-mcduck.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline

And Epic Mickey is canon cos Blot appears in the comics:

https://scrooge-mcduck.fandom.com/wiki/Blot

https://scrooge-mcduck.fandom.com/wiki/The_Blot_and_the_Blob

Also nope Epic Mickey isn't set in an alternate universe, the Wasteland is a sub-dimension of the Prime Universe, kind of like Earth-616 has the negative Zone, you can read more on the wasteland section in this page:

I have no clue how Cars and Planes could fit in this universe but I'd love to find out

You don't have to worry about the 2017 Ducktales (Even though it was great), It had episodes that established the Multiverse and that the original Ducktales and Darkwing Duck are a separate universe entirely.

The original would be the one canon to this.
